Archibald, Marion June (nee Chrysler), a\u00a0longtime resident of Chatham, passed away peacefully at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 in her 94th year.<\/p>\n
\nShe was the daughter of the late Ernest & Elizabeth (nee Arnold) Chrysler.<\/p>\n
Beloved wife of the late Donald Archibald (1999).<\/p>\n
Cherished mother of Ruth Archibald, and Susan Archibald (Garth Pritchard).<\/p>\n
Predeceased by her siblings, Murray, Robert (the late Margaret), and John Chrysler.<\/p>\n
Survived by sister-in-law, Mary Chrysler of California.<\/p>\n
Missed by her nieces, Maureen Chrysler of Alaska, Wendy Chrysler, Diane Rea (Kevin) both of California, Martha MacPherson of Alberta; and nephews, Mark Chrysler of Colorado, Paul Chrysler (Lori) of California, and Grant Newell (Antoinette) of BC. Predeceased by her nephew, David Chrysler. Also, remembered by her several great-nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
Family to receive friends on Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham. A Funeral Service to take place at the Funeral Home on Monday at 11:00 am with Visitation from 10:00 am until Service Time. Burial to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery.<\/p>\n
A Celebration of Marion’s Life to take place at a later date.<\/p>\n
In memory of Marion, donations may be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.<\/p>\n
