The video has been posted to Facebook where it\u2019s been viewed over 5,000 times. It states that the defendants used tactics (to ensure) the dependence of its users, (and) the brain being manipulated to always want more.\u201d And it says that children are particularly vulnerable to this manipulation. The law firm represents two plaintiffs who are parents of a 10 and a 15-year-old.<\/p>\n<p>\u27a0 The National Health Service in the UK is opening the country\u2019s first specialist clinic to treat children and young adults who are addicted to gaming. Patients, ranging in age between 13 and 25, will be able to attend in person or have an online consultation using Skype.<\/p>\n<p>In recent years, concern has been raised about the heavy use of computer games by children and young people and the potential effects this could be having on their physical and mental health. as the term we use.<\/p>\n<p>____________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>After Nine Years Waiting for the Apocalypse, a Guy Comes Out of Hiding and Goes to the Bar<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We don&#8217;t have a ton of details about this yet,\u00a0but on Sunday, cops in the Netherlands discovered a family of seven people who&#8217;d been living in their basement for NINE YEARS waiting for the apocalypse.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And they were only found after a 25-year-old guy left the property . . . went straight to a bar . . . drank five beers . . . and eventually told the bartender about it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He had long hair and a dirty beard.\u00a0 And he said his brothers and sisters were still there and needed help.\u00a0 So the bartender called the cops.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Police found his five siblings in the basement of an old farmhouse, along with a 58-year-old guy who they initially thought was the dad.\u00a0 But apparently that&#8217;s not the case.\u00a0 Everyone else was between 18 and 25.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;d been living off food grown in a garden outside, and also had a goat.\u00a0 But it sounds like they mostly stayed in the basement and had no contact with the world.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cops arrested the 58-year-old for not cooperating.\u00a0 It&#8217;s not clear if he&#8217;s facing any other charges or not.<\/p>\n<p>__________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>STUDY: CHILDREN WANT SOCIAL MEDIA PROFILES WIPED CLEAN AT 18<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Social media can be fun, but it can also create problems.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Researchers reviewed studies from over a decade and found that kids were generally &#8220;outraged&#8221; when they realized how much of their personal information is stored online and wanted &#8220;a fresh start&#8221; once they turned 18.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The study leader adds, &#8220;They say &#8216;whatever I do before I am 18 should be wiped off&#8217;
