The decluttering guru&#8217;s new books may not have been all that shocking, considering the success of her first,\u00a0<em>The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up<\/em>. But her latest move might indeed surprise you: Kondo, the queen of suggesting you toss anything that doesn&#8217;t &#8220;spark joy,&#8221; wants to sell you more stuff.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As of Monday, her official KonMari website offers an online store where you can buy 125 home and self-care products. The meme started making rounds in May when a Twitter user put out a tweet combining Smudge the cat\u2019s image with that of Taylor Armstrong from \u201cThe Real Housewives of Beverly Hills\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It turns out that Smudge, from Ottawa, ON, isn\u2019t always as disagreeable as one would think, judging from the picture of his disapproving gaze from a table with a plate of salad in front of him. His owner says Smudge is a sweet, shy, 6-year-old, and the famous snap happened when Smudge took possession of someone else\u2019s spot at the dinner table, and showed his disapproval at what was being served.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And Smudge, who had 1.2 million Instagram followers at last check, is about to enter the next level of celebrity. Scientists say that is when a &#8220;rare celestial event&#8221; will be visible. The alpha Monocertoid meteor shower is going to be at its most impressive since 1995. The shower is the result of the Earth passing through the tail of a comet. Also known as a &#8220;Unicorn shower,&#8221; the meteors will appear in the sky near the Monoceros or Unicorn constellation&#8211; near Orion the Hunter. Experts say if the sky is clear you will be able to see the meteor shower starting about 11:50pm Eastern time in the eastern parts of North America.<\/p>\n<p>________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Sam Hunt Got Arrested for DUI and Possessing an Open Container<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>SAM HUNT<\/strong>\u00a0was arrested early yesterday morning in Nashville and charged with driving under the influence and having an open container.\u00a0 <strong>Here&#8217;s what happened<\/strong>:\u00a0 Somebody saw a car driving in the wrong lane, so they called the cops.\u00a0 When the police tracked him down, he was still driving on the wrong side of the road . . . and was also swerving in and out of his lane. That&#8217;s when they pulled him over.\u00a0 Nobody else was in the car. According to the report, he had bloodshot eyes and smelled of &#8220;an obvious odor consistent with alcoholic beverage.&#8221;\u00a0 He also admitted he&#8217;d been drinking &#8220;recently.&#8221;\u00a0 And . . . there were two empty cans of beer in the passenger seat.<\/p>\n<p>The cops said he fumbled around while attempting to give them his driver&#8217;s license, even though it was sitting in his lap.\u00a0 And then he tried to hand over his credit card and passport instead.<\/p>\n<p>They did a field sobriety test and his blood alcohol content was .173, which is more than twice the legal limit.
