The two exchanged selfies as they tried to figure out who they were talking to, and Dench ended up inviting Hinton to Thanksgiving dinner with her family. Hinton apparently enjoyed the experience because he&#8217;s spent each subsequent Thanksgiving at Dench&#8217;s home. Each year he posts selfies of the two together, and every time they go massively viral. His post from last year racked up nearly 582,000 retweets and 130,000 likes. Starting February 2020, there will be a new, Arabic-language Sesame Street specifically focusing on displaced refugee children.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A Syrian refugee now living in Canada had a hand in creating the new show called \u201cAhlan Simsim,\u201d which translates to \u201cWelcome Sesame.\u201d It\u2019s designed to help young refugees cope with trauma and deal with feelings of isolation. Mohammad Aljamous, who goes by Jamous, said this version of the classic children\u2019s show, is \u201cfocused on trauma recovery.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He hopes it will help child refugees \u201ccope with the current situation living away from home and the hard condition in the (refugee) camps.\u201d It will feature Muppets and human actors, while also offering coping tactics such as breathing techniques to help children deal with stress.<\/p>\n<p>Jamous said one of the fictional characters will be fleeing war themselves, \u201cso they will address and show \u2018this kid needs more help, more friends.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Last year, Jamous was asked to help get the show off the ground as a consultant, while he\u2019d been working in the\u00a0digital department of the International Red Cross. Before that, he\u2019d been a refugee in Jordan for more than six years. As a refugee, Jamous saw firsthand how difficult living in that situation could be for adults, never mind children.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The show will heavily focus on education, as many of the displaced children don\u2019t have access to regular schooling. This past February, Jamous was able to arrive in British Columbia, through the help of his sponsors and since arriving in Canada, he\u2019s been employed in the hospitality industry, but has also been continuing to help his colleagues overseas to continue putting together the show.<\/p>\n<p><strong>____________________________________________________________________________<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>MEET MARKET:<\/u><\/strong><u><br \/>\n<\/u>Rob Lawless is on a mission. A mission to meet 10,000 strangers. And not just meet them. He wants to spend an hour with each and hear about their lives.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The 28-year-old Philadelphia native has already met with 3,000 people, and is currently doing the rounds in New York. He started his project in 2015, when he was working as a finance consultant and missed the socializing he did while in college.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>How does he finance his quest? By convincing businesses to pay him in exchange for plugs on Instagram. He is averaging about 800 people a year, and after each meeting, Lawless posts a photo of himself and the stranger he\u2019s just met, along with a summary of their story.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He expects the project to last another decade.
