First she experienced pain, blurry vision, and sensitivity to light for two months, and then doctors found she had a large ring shape in her left eye and a hazy layer over her cornea.

Doctors say she had a painful infection in her cornea caused by a single-celled organism found commonly in soil, air, and fresh water. Pools, hot tubs, showers, and even old containers of saline solution can provide a great environment for the organisms to grow. Also, they might be able to latch onto contact lenses when you shower or swim more easily than they could typically grab onto a naked eye, or it could be that the contacts give your eyes tiny injuries that make it easier for the organisms to make their way inside your body.

To prevent this condition always empty and dry your contact case before adding new liquid, and don’t shower, swim, or sleep in your contacts.
______________________________________________________________________________

TUESDAY DECEMBER 10TH

TODAY’S BIRTHDAYS

[67] Susan Dey, actress (“The Partridge Family” 1970-74, “L.A.
