It even worked with chronic pain.\u00a0 When people with cancer were asked to cook something for other patients, their pain levels dropped immediately.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not clear why it works, but it might have to do with our evolution.\u00a0 Basically, we&#8217;ve evolved to look out for each other and make sacrifices for the greater good. Between December 2017 and March 2018, 35-year-old Adam Hill stole 1,040 items including wands, ties, badges and key rings, and sold them on eBay.<\/p>\n<p>At one point, Hill was sending the parcels from the company&#8217;s own mail room. He was caught after colleagues started to notice merchandise popping up and then disappearing underneath Hills&#8217; desk. Police officers searched Hills&#8217; home as well as his car, where they found 12 packages ready to be posted. Hills pleaded guilty to the theft and was sentenced to a suspended prison sentence of 14 months plus 250 hours of community service.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Two GM Engineers Are Busted for Using Two Unreleased New Corvettes<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 2020 Chevy C8 Corvette Stingray officially goes into production next month.\u00a0 But two of the engineers working on the car for General Motors couldn&#8217;t wait that long to open it up and see what it could do.<\/p>\n<p>27-year-old Alexander Thim from West Bloomfield, Michigan and 30-year-old Mark Derkatz from Windsor, Ontario, Canada are two engineers who were working on the Stingrays at GM&#8217;s plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky last week.<\/p>\n<p>And after hours on Wednesday night, they took two of the Stingray prototypes out of the plant . . . and STREET RACED them.<\/p>\n<p>They were both busted by the cops for racing in a 45 mile-an-hour zone . . . For users, that means Microsoft will stop providing updates and security patches for Windows 7.<\/p>\n<p>The changes will affect hundreds of millions of people because more than one-third of PCs use Windows 7.\u00a0That is slightly fewer than Windows 10, the most popular PC operating system, which is on about half of the world&#8217;s personal computers. Microsoft said that Windows 7 users can still use their computers after today, but the company warns they will be at &#8220;greater risk for viruses and malware.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The company is encouraging people to upgrade to Windows 10 for $139 or buy a new device running Windows 10 if their computer is more than three years old.
