Dodgers<\/strong>\u00a0lost both of them.\u00a0 In 2017, they lost to the\u00a0<strong>Houston<\/strong>\u00a0. . . and then in 2018, they lost to <strong>Boston<\/strong>. Major League Baseball has found that the Astros engaged in electronic sign-stealing in 2017, and it looks like the Red Sox did some similar cheating in 2018.\u00a0 But it DOESN&#8217;T sound like the MLB will be stripping their titles.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, the L.A. City Council is\u00a0expected to vote\u00a0on a resolution urging baseball to RECALL the championship trophies, and &#8220;award them to the L.A. NEWS <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A guy in South Carolina named Adam Gorlitsky was paralyzed from the waist down in a car crash in 2005.\u00a0 But he hasn&#8217;t let it hold him back.\u00a0 And over the weekend, he set a pretty amazing WORLD RECORD.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s learned to walk again using a robotic exoskeleton that straps to his legs.\u00a0 And on Saturday, he walked across the finish line after completing a FULL MARATHON.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He walked the Charleston Marathon in exactly 33 hours, 50 minutes, and 24 seconds.\u00a0 Which beat the previous world record by about three hours.<\/p>\n<p>It took him a year of training, and this wasn&#8217;t his first attempt.\u00a0 He tried walking the Los Angeles Marathon last year, but had to stop about 17 miles in.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This time, he made it all 26.2 miles.\u00a0 And he says he couldn&#8217;t have done it without his friends and family.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Charleston is his hometown.\u00a0 So a ton of people came out to support him.\u00a0 They&#8217;d walk a mile alongside him.\u00a0 Then other friends would show up to walk the next mile.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He says he did it to send a message to people that your disabilities and adversities should never define who you Stay on Hold? And What Type of Music Do You Hate Least?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>More than one in five will stay on hold with customer service INDEFINITELY, according to a new poll.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>31% will only wait five minutes . . . 34% will wait up to 15 minutes before they hang up . . . and 22% said they&#8217;ll stay on the phone &#8220;as long as [they] need to.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The remaining 13% said they REFUSE to wait on hold.\u00a0 They&#8217;ll either request a call back, or find another way to get in touch.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>One in seven people also said they wish HOLD MUSIC wasn&#8217;t a thing.\u00a0 15% of us would rather sit and stew in silence while we wait. It all started when veteran entertainment journalist Chris Willman posted, \u201cI turned on the 105.1 country station in L.A. just now, and they were playing the new song by Gabby Barrett, and then, without any pause or interruption at all, they went into a Kelsea Ballerini song. Can\u2019t they get fined for that?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He was being sarcastic, but as it turns out, he wasn\u2019t wrong.<\/p>\n<p>A radio station in Michigan stirred up a storm yesterday for a now-deleted Tweet saying they&#8217;re not allowed to play two female country artists back to back.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe cannot play two females back to back. Not even Lady Antebellum or Little Big Town against another female,\u201d they wrote. \u201cI applaud their courage. Pop audiences are more welcoming and forgiving of their female singers. I kinda like that. The Country audience not so much. They accepted Taylor because their daughters loved her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That got the attention of, oh . . . let&#8217;s say every female country artist alive.<\/p>\n<p>Here are a couple we can actually quote.\u00a0\u00a0<strong>KACEY MUGRAVES<\/strong>\u00a0Tweeted that it&#8217;s &#8220;male B.S.&#8221; . . . and\u00a0<strong>KELSEA BALLERINI<\/strong>\u00a0got creative and listed 12 female country artists by name . . . and told Alexa to play all of them in a row.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Brandi Carlile was on &#8220;Full Frontal with Samantha Bee&#8221; the other night.\u00a0 They asked for her take on why we need more females in country music.\u00a0 She said, quote, &#8220;Anyone that listens to country music, ask yourself this question:\u00a0 &#8216;What do you want your daughter to know about herself.&#8217;\u00a0 And if you can&#8217;t get that from country music, it&#8217;s a problem.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>_____________________________________________________________________________________<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>BRETT YOUNG LIKES TO FLEX HIS KITCHEN SKILLS <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Brett Young<\/strong>\u00a0is enjoying his time at home these days with his wife,\u00a0<strong>Taylor<\/strong>, and his infant daughter,\u00a0<strong>Presley<\/strong>. In addition to being a hands-on dad, Brett&#8217;s been taking on some of the household duties, including preparing meals.<\/p>\n<p>He tells us that while he&#8217;s not the best cook he enjoys getting in the kitchen.\u00a0[\u201cI think as far as guys go, I\u2019m decent in the kitchen. I do enjoy cooking, so I\u2019m really fortunate, both my mom, my mother-in-law, and my now wife are all very good in the kitchen. So, anything I screw up they\u2019ve got like, a backup item.\u00a0 But I like to be involved, I like to cook, and one of the things I really like to do is kind of just like, throw things together, you know, look in the fridge see what odds and ends we have and try to come up with something. I hate to waste food and so, yeah, I enjoy it.
