Back in November, Gritty was doing a photoshoot with fans.\u00a0 And one 13-year-old kid hit Gritty on the head after a photo . . . the kid&#8217;s dad says the kid, quote, &#8220;playfully patted&#8221; Gritty. But apparently that infuriated him, and Gritty allegedly got up and PUNCHED the kid in the back. They noticed nibble marks on everything and realized Dory had quite the afternoon. The 11-month-old pup had emptied the kitchen cupboards and garbage can, littering the home with trash, biscuits, assorted chocolates and cooking utensils.<\/p>\n<p>Despite attending \u201cday school\u201d and puppy training, \u201cDory is just a full-time nutcase who enjoys causing havoc\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>They monitored her health but 24 hours after the incident, she was perfectly fine, eating and sleeping as normal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Squirrel Ransacks Home of Vacationing Family<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A Georgia family said they returned home after a holiday vacation to find their home has been ransacked by a squirrel, and their insurance wouldn&#8217;t cover the damage.<\/p>\n<p>Kari Drees and her family arrived home to find thousands of dollars\u2019 worth of damage had been done to the inside of the house. &#8220;We saw wood chippings from the door all over the floor, and as we further inspected it, all the windows had been damaged,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>Drees said they searched the home and discovered the culprit &#8212; a squirrel nesting in their couch.<\/p>\n<p>She said the animal apparently came down through the chimney and couldn&#8217;t find a way back out. An Insurance adjuster was sent to the home, but he told Drees the company does not cover damage from rodents or vermin.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They said if it was a raccoon it would have been covered, but since we saw a squirrel, droppings, that they won&#8217;t cover it,&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Drees said her family is attempting to crowd fund money for repairs and she wants to warn other homeowners to check their insurance policies carefully.<\/p>\n<p><strong>____________________________________________________________________________<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>1936 Newsreel About the &#8220;New&#8221; Dial Telephone<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This might help explain why your grandparents can&#8217;t figure out how to use that gosh darn smart phone.\u00a0 Back in 1936 they needed an AT&amp;T newsreel to tell them how to operate the &#8220;new&#8221; dial telephone.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It features a young girl doing the demonstration as an announcer walks you through it.<\/p>\n<p>He explains in great detail how to recognize a dial tone, a ringing signal, and a busy signal.\u00a0 He even tells you how to dial each numeral.<\/p>\n<p><strong>______________________________________________________________________________<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>The Average Person Had 105 Bad Nights of Sleep Last Year, and 102 Failed Naps<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If these numbers are even close to right, it&#8217;s no wonder everyone&#8217;s so tired all the time . . .<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>An annual survey by the store Mattress Firm found the average person had 105 bad nights of sleep last year.\u00a0 Plus 102 &#8220;failed naps&#8221; where you try to fall asleep but can&#8217;t.\u00a0 That&#8217;s about two a week.\u00a0 Here are six more stats from the survey . . .<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The average person said they only averaged five-and-a-half hours of sleep a night last year.\u00a0 That&#8217;s a huge drop from 2018 when it was 6 hours and 17 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>We&#8217;d pay $317 for just ONE NIGHT of &#8220;perfect&#8221; sleep.\u00a0 Up from $290 a year ago.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>On average, we got 120 nights of GREAT sleep . . . which is defined as falling asleep fast, and sleeping through the night.\u00a0 So only about a third of the time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>People who sleep on their backs were more likely to say they slept great.\u00a0 And people who let their PETS sleep in bed with them slept better than people who didn&#8217;t.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>The most common bedtime &#8220;rituals&#8221;
