The NBA abruptly announced that the rest of the SEASON was suspended until further notice last night.\u00a0 This came after the league found out that a player had tested positive for COVID-19.\u00a0 Sources say the infected player is\u00a0RUDY GOBERT<\/strong>\u00a0of the Utah Jazz.\u00a0 As far as we know, he’s doing okay.<\/p>\n

Jazz and Thunder players were quarantined in the locker room . . . however, the NBA said the infected player (Gobert) was NOT in the arena.\u00a0 His test results had just been released . . . and the league was very concerned because of all the contact he’s had with others beforehand.<\/p>\n

The NBA\u00a0needed\u00a0to intervene.\u00a0 During the past 10 days, Utah has played 5 teams including the Toronto Raptors. Since the virus can take up to two weeks to be symptomatic, players from those teams, as well as personnel from the Jazz, have been advised to self-quarantine.<\/p>\n

The NBA hasn’t said how long the season might be suspended, because it’s too early for anyone to know the extent of the situation.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>TOM HANKS<\/strong>\u00a0and his wife\u00a0RITA WILSON<\/strong>\u00a0became the first famous\u00a0people to have tested positive for the coronavirus.\u00a0 They’re in Australia . . . and they say\u00a0they’re doing fine, and are just taking it, quote, “one-day-at-a-time.”<\/p>\n

“Well . . . what to do next? \u00a0The Medical Officials have protocols that must be followed. \u00a0We will be tested, observed, and isolated for as long as public health and safety requires. \u00a0Not much more to it than a one-day-at-a-time approach, no?<\/p>\n

“We’ll keep the world posted and updated.\u00a0 Take care of yourselves!”<\/p>\n

A cop near New Orleans pulled a guy over the other day for driving with expired plates.\u00a0 And he tried to claim it just slipped his mind, because he’s been so busy lately.<\/p>\n

That excuse might work sometimes but not in this guy’s case because his registration expired 23 YEARS ago.<\/p>\n

Police posted a photo of the license plate on Facebook.\u00a0 And the sticker expired in September of 1997. There’s no word yet on what charges he’s facing.<\/p>\n

Is this a miracle or a problem? Residents of the small village Settecani, in Italy, say the taps in their homes were dispensing red liquid instead of water last Wednesday. Many said the water smelled like a locally-produced wine. Officials at the winery say technicians investigated and found a technical fault had caused wine to leak from a silo into water pipes. The high pressure of the wine leak was enough to displace the water in the pipes, causing the beverage to enter the water supply. The local water board dispatched people to fix the issue and once again bring fresh water through the pipes. Some residents told local media they bottled as much of the wine that came through as possible before the flow returned to normal.<\/p>\n
