A convenience store owner in New Jersey is now facing charges after creating and selling a spray sanitizer that left four children with burns. She was charged with endangering the welfare of children and deceptive business practices. So without hesitating, Nick handed his credit card to another officer . . . and asked him to go buy a CAKE.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They surprised the woman with it, and she invited them to her house to meet her kids and have cake with them.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The whole thing was captured on Nick&#8217;s body-cam.\u00a0 But he never even tried to get any credit for it. They began listing their items on Amazon at a\u00a0at a \u201csubstantial\u201d markup.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They also sold 2,000 50-packs of face masks on eBay for $40 to $50, sometimes higher.<\/p>\n<p>But Amazon pulled his items and thousands of other listings for hand sanitizers, face masks and wipes, to combat price gouging. EBay followed suit soon afterward. So now they have a garage filled with 17,700 bottles of sanitizer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He reportedly said he doesn\u2019t want to become infamous for hoarding. \u201cIf I\u00a0can make a slight profit, that\u2019s fine,\u201d and defended his actions as solving \u201cinefficiencies in the marketplace,\u201d in that hawking these products for profit online potentially sends them to areas of the country where it\u2019s harder to get them.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019re not the only ones, an Ohio truck driver named Eric, who did not provide his last name, reportedly told the paper that he had snapped up about 10,000 face masks at retail stores. He paid about $20 for each 10-pack, and estimates that he made $35,000 to $40,000 in profit.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And a couple in Vancouver says\u00a0that they\u2019ve made more than $100,000 reselling Lysol wipes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>____________________________________________________________________________<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>SLEEPING ALARM:<\/u><\/strong><u><br \/>\n<\/u>Admit it. You love to stay up late on weekends, and then \u201ccatch up\u201d by sleeping in the next morning.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Bad plan, according to a new study. Research out of Harvard found that changing your regular sleep-wake time by 90 minutes \u2014 in either direction \u2014 significantly increases your chance of having a heart attack or heart disease.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For the study, a regular sleep time was defined as less than 30 minutes difference, on average, over seven nights. During this time, the Saturday Night Grand Ole Opry Show will return to its original format as a live radio broadcast without a live audience.
