A reddit user posted a video of himself playing Mario Kart while it was projected in larger-then-life style onto the building across from him, with the caption: \u201cPlaying Mario Kart during quarantine be like.\u201d It soon evolved into a nightly exhibition of retro games at 9pm.\u00a0 He says he hasn\u2019t received any complaints, and is considering playing movies so neighbors can watch from their balconies when it gets warmer. (When the government says \u2018stay\u2019, the people will play \u2013 video games\u2026)<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 A helicopter rescue was needed to airlift a man who had attempted to walk across a mountain range to Spain from France to buy cigarettes during a lockdown. A local mountain rescue service in the Pyrenees said the man was found \u201cexhausted, shivering, cold and lost\u201d. He was fined 135 euros for breaking coronavirus lockdown rules.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 A policeman who turned up to an apartment to break up a party was shocked to find a woman at home with her cat and having online drinks with her friends. A woman in Scotland had set up the video party to cheer her daughter, who had to celebrate her 13th birthday in lockdown. When a cop appeared on screen at her friend Melissa\u2019s house, he explained to the online party that Melissa had been seen dancing with her cat, and neighbours had assumed she was having a party while the country is in lockdown.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 Carole Baskin has refused to appear in a reunion episode of \u201cTiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness\u201d. The animal rights activist \u2013 who has been very vocal in her criticism of the Netflix documentary about jailed zookeeper Joe Exotic \u2013 says she hasn\u2019t been asked to appear, but she would turn down any offer if she were approached. Baskin has been outspoken against the documentary.<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 In the new bonus episode of &#8220;Tiger King&#8221;, one of the participants\u00a0says\u00a0Joe Exotic was actually AFRAID of Tigers. Three layers or three ingredients, though? So, he emailed Nabisco. The company responded saying, \u201cNo business records survived which specifically explain the origins or inspiration for the name Triscuit. But we do know the name was chosen as a fun derivation of the word \u201cbiscuit.\u201d The \u201cTRI\u201d does not mean 3.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He did some more internet sleuthing and came across some early Triscuit advertisements stating that the cracker was baked by electricity. \u201cIn the early 1900\u2019s, Triscuit was run out of Niagara Falls. And their big selling point?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Being baked by electricity,&#8217;\u201d said Boggs. \u201cThey were \u2018the only food on the market prepared by this 1903 process.\u2019 Look at the lightning bolts! And that\u2019s when it clicked\u2013 Elec-TRI-city Biscuit. TRISCUIT MEANS \u2018ELECTRICITY BISCUIT.&#8217;\u201d The Triscuit twitter account was impressed and they confirmed Boggs\u2019 theory. Triscuit crackers are named for electricity biscuits. U.S. retails sales of orange juice jumped about 38 percent in the four weeks ending on March 28th compared to the same period of time last year.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This could be because orange juice is a typical go-to item when people get sick or are afraid they might.
