\u27a2 As you saw from 90% of the posts on social media on Monday, it was\u00a0“Star Wars”<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0Day . . . “May the 4th be with you” and all that.<\/p>\n

A restaurant in Lethbridge, Alberta decided to celebrate\u00a0“Star Wars”\u00a0<\/em>Day, with one of their female employees dressed in a full Stormtrooper outfit to wander around on the street to try to drum up business. Well . . . she was holding a toy Stormtrooper blaster gun.\u00a0 And a few people saw that and CALLED THE COPS.\u00a0 Apparently they mistook it for a real gun, even though the woman was in full costume. The Police came, pulled real guns on her, pushed her to the ground, handcuffed her, and put her in a police car. It took about an hour before everything was sorted out and she was released without any charges. The owner of the restaurant says he’s been talking with the employee’s family about potentially taking action against the Police.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u27a2 An entire group of circus performers and work staff have been\u00a0stuck\u00a0in a north Texas parking lot for weeks because of the pandemic.\u00a0 Here’s Cirque MonteCarlo Circus Operations Manager, Cindi Cavallini. \u00a0 (Chefs, welders, aerialists, jugglers and yes, clowns, along with their 14 RVs, 12 semi-trailers, and seven semi-tractors, stuck living in a parking lot since mid- March.)<\/p>\n

\u27a2 By now, you’ve probably heard that MURDER HORNETS have\u00a0made their way\u00a0from Asia to Canada and the U.S. for the first time.\u00a0 Well, apparently if they don’t murder you, they can make for a delicious snack.<\/p>\n

In Japan . . . where the murder hornets kill up to 50 people a year . . . people have been eating them for a while.\u00a0 They’re even considered a delicacy.<\/p>\n

It turns out they’re pretty high in protein, and since they’re two inches long, they’re easy to pan fry and serve on a skewer.\u00a0 And more than 30 fancy restaurants have them on the menu.<\/p>\n

A guy in New York who runs a company dedicated to edible insects says, quote, “People have compared it to a popcorn-y flavor without the butter.”<\/p>\n

\u27a2 “Twilight”<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0author\u00a0STEPHENIE MEYER<\/strong>\u00a0announced that a new book in the series is coming out on August 4th.<\/p>\n

It’s called\u00a0“<\/strong><\/em>Midnight Sun<\/strong><\/a>“<\/strong><\/em>, and it’s a re-telling of the love story between Edward Cullen and Bella Swan, but\u00a0from Edward’s perspective\u00a0this time.\u00a0 That would be the\u00a0ROBERT PATTISON<\/strong>\u00a0character. The original story was told in four books, which came out between 2005 and 2008.\u00a0\u00a0They were made into five movies, which\u00a0came out\u00a0between 2008 and 2012.<\/p>\n
