The decision to get the 1940s-era bus out of Denali National Park was all about public safety \u2014 it attracted adventure-seeking fans of the movie to a dangerous backcountry. The bus was in a very secluded area with no cell service, unpredictable weather and often swollen rivers. Hikers from around the world attempted to find Fairbanks city bus #142 every year, but many have had to be rescued, and some even died. Christopher McCandless \u2014 the subject of \u201cInto the Wild\u201d \u2014 died there in 1992. The bus was featured on the movie poster.<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 A Belgian man has been tormented for 10 years \u2013 by pizza. The 65-year-old has been the unwitting recipient of a constant stream of pizza deliveries that he didn\u2019t order. Jean Van Landegham initially thought his unwanted deliveries were the result of an address mix-up or an incorrect order, but after years of being inundated with unwanted pies, sometimes as many as 14 at once, he feels that he is the victim of a cheesy culprit. Police are aware of the situation, and when they find the perpetrator, Van Landegham says it \u201cwill not be their best day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 A man in France has been awarded a $45,000 severance package because his job was \u201ctoo boring\u201d.
