\u27a2 \u00a0CHARLIE DANIELS<\/strong>\u00a0died yesterday after suffering a stroke.\u00a0 He was 83.\u00a0 He’s survived by his wife Hazel and their son, Charlie Daniels Jr. The world knew him as a brilliant fiddle player and for his classic song\u00a0“The Devil Went Down to Georgia”<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0. . . but his list of credits is a mile long.\u00a0 He put 34 singles on the\u00a0“Billboard”<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0Country Songs chart and sold over 13.5 million records.<\/p>\n

Charlie Daniels shares that you’re never too old to chase your passion.\u00a0 He’s a good example of that because he didn’t move to Nashville until he was in his 30s.<\/p>\n

\u27a2 A New Zealand town built in 2006 as a tribute to the U.S. Wild West is for sale with an asking price of $7.5 million for the 10 buildings and a Manuka honey business. Mellonsfolly Ranch was built on 900 acres of New Zealand’s North Island in 2006 by John Bedogni and the 10 themed buildings were designed to resemble an 1860s frontier town in Wyoming. The town includes a licensed saloon, a courthouse that features a cinema, a sheriff’s office, a billiards lounge and three residences. Mellonsfolly Ranch is currently used as a boutique hotel for nightly rentals that start at $5,000.<\/p>\n

\u27a2 A town council member in northern Spain offered to resign from his position after accidently broadcasting a video of himself showering during an online council meeting that was being livestreamed. The meeting ran long he \u00a0began to worry that he would not have time to shower before heading to his other job.\u00a0 He decided to multitask, and as residents and journalists watched, jumped into the shower without remembering that he was on camera. He wrote on social media that it was an innocent mistake but that he was at “complete peace” with what had transpired.<\/p>\n

\u27a2 According to a new study out of the University of Georgia, doing a little bit of drinking every day is GOOD FOR YOU.<\/p>\n

The researchers found that people who have one or two drinks a day were 29% less likely to show signs of mental decline as they got older than people who never drink.<\/p>\n

So if you have somewhere between eight and 15 drinks a week, according to the researchers . . . it might mean good things for your brain.<\/p>\n

\u27a2 \u201cDie Hard\u201d has been named one of the most re-watched films of all time. The 1988 action flick \u2013 starring Bruce Willis \u2013 as well as \u201cDirty Dancing\u201d and \u201cThe Wizard of Oz\u201d are the most popular films for viewers to revisit, with Brits reporting having seen them twelve times each, according to a poll for streaming service NOW TV. \u201cStar Wars\u201d movies also stand up well to repeated viewings, with people seeing \u201cA New Hope\u201d, \u201cThe Empire Strikes Back\u201d and \u201cReturn of the Jedi\u2019 11 times each. Viewers says they\u2019ve seen \u201cThe Sound of Music\u201d, \u201cThe Lion King\u201d and the 1980s classic \u201cThe Breakfast Club\u201d on ten occasions. (Uh, \u201cChristmas Vacation?\u201d\u2026Helloo?)<\/p>\n
