Mellonsfolly Ranch was built on 900 acres of New Zealand&#8217;s North Island in 2006 by John Bedogni and the 10 themed buildings were designed to resemble an 1860s frontier town in Wyoming. Mellonsfolly Ranch is currently used as a boutique hotel for nightly rentals that start at $5,000.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 A town council member in northern Spain offered to resign from his position after accidently broadcasting a video of himself showering during an online council meeting that was being livestreamed. The meeting ran long he \u00a0began to worry that he would not have time to shower before heading to his other job.\u00a0 He decided to multitask, and as residents and journalists watched, jumped into the shower without remembering that he was on camera. He wrote on social media that it was an innocent mistake but that he was at &#8220;complete peace&#8221; with what had transpired.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 According to a new study out of the University of Georgia, doing a little bit of drinking every day is GOOD FOR YOU.<\/p>\n<p>The researchers found that people who have one or two drinks a day were 29% less likely to show signs of mental decline as they got older than people who never drink.<\/p>\n<p>So if you have somewhere between eight and 15 drinks a week, according to the researchers . . . it might mean good things for your brain.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 \u201cDie Hard\u201d has been named one of the most re-watched films of all time. The Columbia Police Department in Illinois said officers had to respond to Interstate 255 on Wednesday (June 24th) after drivers reported a bull wandering into the roadway. Authorities say officers were eventually able to guide the bull away from the highway and then it was lassoed by its owner. The animal was not injured and was returned to its owner\u2019s farm.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>MOUNTAIN LION REMOVED FROM CRAWL SPACE UNDER CALIFORNIA HOME <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You never know what might be lurking below your house. Monrovia, California police caught a mountain lion that had been spotted wandering the city for four days yesterday morning (June 25th.) The animal was found hiding in a crawl space under a house on Wednesday evening (June 24th.) The animal was spotted leaving the home Wednesday night and wandering the neighborhood before returning to the crawl space. It was shot with a tranquilizer dart and removed from under the home early Thursday morning. Wildlife agents loaded the mountain lion into a truck to remove it from the area to relocate it to a wilderness area.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>ALLIGATOR WITH MISSING LIMBS SHOWS UP ON FLORIDA FAMILY\u2019S PORCH <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Talk about having an uninvited guest. An 8-foot, 9-inch alligator was spotted on Tuesday (June 30th) at the front door of a home in Tampa, Florida. The alligator was also missing two limbs. The home owners called Croc Encounters to come capture the alligator and remove it. It\u2019s thought the missing limbs are due to an encounter with another alligator. The hub cities for play will be Canada&#8217;s Toronto and Edmonton for the qualifying round and at least the first two playoff rounds<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>CHARLIE DANIELS DEAD AT 83 <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The music world is mourning the passing of\u00a0<strong>Charlie Daniels<\/strong>, who died yesterday (Monday, July 6th) at the age of 83. Daniels died at a Nashville area hospital after suffering a stroke. According to his publicist, funeral arrangements will be announced in the coming days. Daniels is survived by his wife,\u00a0<strong>Hazel<\/strong>, and son,\u00a0<strong>Charlie Daniels, Jr.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Daniels and his\u00a0<strong>Charlie Daniels Band\u00a0<\/strong>were most widely known for the chart-topping hit, \u201cThe Devil Went Down To Georgia.\u201d He became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2008, the Musicians Hall of Fame in 2009 and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>The Hall of Fame induction was particularly meaningful to Daniels, who at the time he thought it was an unachievable dream.<strong>\u00a0[&#8220;The best way I know how to describe it is\u2026This is a dream you don&#8217;t even let yourself dream. In a statement from Garth&#8217;s spokesperson, the move was made &#8220;out of an abundance of caution&#8221; after they were possibly exposed to COVID-19.
