{"id":16159,"date":"2020-07-16T09:35:32","date_gmt":"2020-07-16T13:35:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cfcofm\/?p=16159"},"modified":"2020-07-16T06:07:31","modified_gmt":"2020-07-16T10:07:31","slug":"on-todays-show-430","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cfcofm\/blogs\/mornings\/2020\/07\/on-todays-show-430\/","title":{"rendered":"On Today&#8217;s Show"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u27a2 There&#8217;s a guy named Johnny Perri in Washington Township, Michigan, and he owns a jewelry store.\u00a0 He got it from his dad, and he&#8217;s run it his whole life, but when he shut down for the pandemic, it forced him to re-evaluate the entire business.<\/p>\n<p>So he closed his business, took the entire inventory of his store . . . and buried it as TREASURE around Michigan.<\/p>\n<p>And now he&#8217;s launching a TREASURE QUEST to find each of the stashes of buried gold, diamonds, silver, and more.\u00a0 People can buy tickets to the quests, and they&#8217;ll get clues where the treasure is buried . . . from there, it&#8217;s a race.<\/p>\n<p>The tickets will cost $49 per quest, and each treasure is worth about $4,000.\u00a0 The first one starts on August 1st.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 A man in Cornwall, England, was arrested after biting a seagull who tried to steal his Big Mac.<\/p>\n<p>The 26-year-old man \u201cclaimed he was being attacked for his meal and in response, he grabbed the bird and bit it. Officers had seen the incident and immediately went over and detained him.\u201d The man told police officers he was \u201cunder the influence of drugs\u201d and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. \u201cThe seagull was clearly injured by the incident but flew off before we were able to check on its welfare,\u201d the rep said. \u201cWe don\u2019t know what happened to it afterward.\u201d Seagulls are protected by the Wildlife and Countryside Act. The man is reportedly facing up to six months in prison or a fine of about $9,000<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 A guy in Wisconsin\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsaw.com\/2020\/07\/06\/man-attempts-to-shoot-woodchuck-on-his-property-bullet-ricochets-off-tree-and-hits-nearby-golfer\/\">tried<\/a>\u00a0to shoot a groundhog, but the bullet ricocheted off a tree and hit a golfer on a course next to his house.\u00a0 Luckily, the golfer survived.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 No one can accuse NBA player Jimmy Butler of not putting in the work.<\/p>\n<p>He showed up at 3:30am for his first practice with the Heat in October but being asleep in the middle of the night is a totally valid reason to not be working on your game, Butler, though, apparently couldn\u2019t stand the idea of letting his mandatory quarantine period inside the Disney bubble get in the way of his preparation for the Heat\u2019s playoff push.<\/p>\n<p>According to reports hotel security responded to a complaint of a \u201cloud bumping\u201d in the Heat\u2019s hotel.\u00a0\u201cThe security guard went over to investigate, found the room, knocked on the room,\u201d Haynes said. \u201cAnd who opened the door? She wrote \u00a0that Bridger saw the dog approach his sister and deliberately stood in front of her. The dog attacked Bridger instead, biting the side of the boy\u2019s face and head, the aunt said.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Despite being injured, Nikki said Bridger grabbed his sister&#8217;s hand and ran with her &#8220;to keep her safe.&#8221; Nikki said that when she asked Bridger why he stepped in front of the dog, he told her that &#8220;If someone was going to die, I thought it should be me.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Nikki said Bridger was treated by a &#8220;skilled plastic surgeon&#8221; following the attack and is now recovering at home. He says recently he was driving on a road with his now 11-year-old son, when he spotted a familiar-looking skate hanging from a signpost at the end of a driveway. Upon investigating, he found it was his missing skate.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The owner of the house said they had found the skate seven years ago, and tried to find the owner in various ways before forgetting about the skate in the garage. I essentially sat down and made a list of potential titles and just off the top of my head, I just sort of started writing down words or phrases that felt like the songs or felt like the record.<em>\u00a0Southside<\/em>\u00a0was the one that just kept standing out. I didn\u2019t put a whole lot of thought into why that was the case. Southside just for me is a phrase that just feels like my rural and urban roots, you know, where I\u2019m from, I kind of feel like I\u2019m from the Southside of that place, and obviously, the word south is in the title so there\u2019s association with being from the South.
