He became host of \u201cLive! With Regis and Kathie Lee\u201d in 1988.<\/p>\n<p>In 2001, the franchise became \u201cLive! with Regis and Kelly\u201d, co-starring Kelly Ripa. Philbin left in 2011 after 23 years. He also served as the original host of \u201cWho Wants to Be a Millionaire?\u201d from 1999 to 2002.<\/p>\n<p><strong>David Letterman<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Letterman\/status\/1287174073877897216\"><strong>said<\/strong><\/a>, quote, &#8220;Regis is in the same category as [<strong>Johnny<\/strong>]\u00a0<strong>Carson<\/strong>. Superlative. He was on our show a million times, always the best guest we ever had, charming, lovable and could take a punch. \u00a0When he retired, I lost interest in television. \u00a0I love him.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Regis was Letterman&#8217;s guest 150 times, and he\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/tv\/david-letterman-pays-tribute-regis-philbin\/\"><strong>guest-hosted<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<em><strong>&#8220;The Late Show&#8221;<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0in 2000, while Letterman was recovering from a quintuple-bypass surgery.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 Some guy\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.waaytv.com\/content\/news\/Huntsville-Police-investigating-after-man-drinks-booze-steals-cash-draw-during-burglary-571767361.html\">robbed<\/a>\u00a0a restaurant in Alabama, taking cash and booze.\u00a0 But, he left most of the loot behind.\u00a0 The owner thinks he drank so much he was too drunk to carry most of it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 There\u2019s one old saying you can throw out the window. Money CAN buy you happiness, according to a new study. It found that financial success has been increasingly linked to happiness over the past few decades. The researchers concluded that the \u201chappiness is more strongly related to income now than it was in the 1970s and 1980s\u201d, so yes, \u201cMoney buys more happiness now than in the past.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 Rumor has it that Jude Law is heading to Neverland to take on the Lost Boys. He\u2019s currently in talks to play \u2018Captain Hook\u2019 in Disney\u2019s live-action remake of Peter Pan. \u201cPeter Pan &amp; Wendy\u201d will be based on Disney\u2019s 1953 animated movie, which follows a group of siblings as they team up with a magical boy, who brings them to Neverland. After Going to a Strip Club<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Well, that &#8220;bubble&#8221; the NBA was hoping to stay in has another hole.\u00a0 L.A. Chris tells us that putting his family on camera whenever possible was a decision he made a long time, and it made perfect sense in this case because he wrote &#8220;Done&#8221; about Kelly.\u00a0[&#8220;I also said one time that I wouldn&#8217;t do videos without my family if I was gonna be really involved in them and I&#8217;m sticking true to that.
