\u27a2 A skydiver in Vermont recently\u00a0lost<\/a>\u00a0his prosthetic leg when it fell off in mid-air.\u00a0 He says he didn’t even realize it was gone at first, and wasn’t sure he’d ever find it.\u00a0 But he posted on Facebook and asked people in the area to keep an eye out, and a random farmer found it on his property.<\/p>\n

\u27a2 According to Wham-O, Slip ‘N Slides have totally sold out this summer with most public pools and water parks closed or running limited hours.<\/p>\n

They say that at one point, Slip ‘N Slide sales DOUBLED every day for 10 days.<\/p>\n

And that’s not the only nostalgia toy they make that’s been selling like crazy.\u00a0 Frisbee sales are up 500% and boogie board sales are up 300%.<\/p>\n

\u27a2 These days, you\u2019re probably going out less and spending more time at home. And according to Unilever, that means you don\u2019t need to wear deodorant as often, demand for personal care items, such as deodorant \u2014 and their brands Dove soap and Axe deodorant \u2014 have declined, while home consumption of their ice cream brands Breyer\u2019s and Ben & Jerry\u2019s are up 26% between April and June compared to last year. Sales of soups, meal kits and mayonnaise have also spiked during the pandemic.<\/p>\n

\u27a2 \u201cSchitt\u2019s Creek\u201d has broken the record for most Emmy nominations given to a comedy series in its final season with 15 nods in total. The show surpassed the previous record of 13 nominations set by \u201c30 Rock\u201d in 2013. \u201cSchitt\u2019s\u201d nominations include one for each of the show\u2019s four leads, including an outstanding lead actor nod for Eugene Levy, a lead actress nod for Catherine O\u2019Hara, a supporting actor nod for Dan Levy, and a supporting actress nod for Annie Murphy. The show also got nominations for directing, and is one of 8 shows nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series.<\/p>\n
