Tuesday night (August 18th) someone shot a video at a Safeway Grocery store in Kings Beach, California that shows a brown bear walking out of the store with a bag of Tostitos chips in its mouth. She managed to capture footage of the bear inside the store, then outside the store eating from a garbage can, and then walking back into the store. Luckily, no one was hurt.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 A paranormal researcher says haunted house reports are on the rise since the beginning of the pandemic. John E.L. Tenney, the former host of TV\u2019s \u201cGhost Stalkers,\u201d says he used to receive two to five calls a month from people convinced their homes are haunted, but since COVID-19 restrictions started, he gets five to 10 calls a week. Why? According to him, it\u2019s because more people are at home and taking notice of their environment. Tenney says perhaps some people have had a ghost in their house all along and they\u2019ve just never noticed the \u201cpops and creaks\u201d that may be coming from an otherworldly source.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 Boxing fans will have to wait a little longer for Mike Tyson\u2019s return to the ring. The exhibition fight between Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. has been pushed back from Sept. 12 to Nov. 28. The event will be streamed on pay-per-view and will take place at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California. ESPN says the organizers of the event needed more time to land international TV deals and tie up loose ends in the pay-per-view side.<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 Tim Allen is reuniting with his \u201cTool Time\u201d co-star Richard Karn for a new home builder competition series on \u201cHistory\u201d, the network has announced. Almost every day, he\u2019s been riding about 10 kilometres with his family. The Leigh family says they have a \u2018deep, personal connection\u2019 to the SickKids Foundation. Their daughter was in Sick Kids for 3 weeks when she was first born.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There are 52,000 riders across the country taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to Fight Kids Cancer. The largest snake was 3.2 feet (1 meter) long. She says &#8220;I sort of looked at them for a second and thought &#8230; that&#8217;s not right,&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tree snakes, which mostly feed on frogs and skinks, are non-venomous and usually sleep in tree hollows. She took a picture and some video before calling a friend for help to remove them.<\/p>\n<p>The friend released the snakes unharmed into a cane field nearby.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time Pearson has made such a discovery. Boseman\u2019s verified account tweeted out a family statement confirming his death and revealing he was diagnosed with Stage III colon cancer in 2016, then battled the disease over the last four years as it advanced to Stage IV. The previous record-holder was one from former president Barack Obama, which has 4.3 million likes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>DARIUS RUCKER ON PLAYING CONCERTS<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Darius Rucker\u00a0<\/strong>is more than ready to return to his regular life of touring around the country. Last year, he said he planned to take a much-needed break from the road in 2020 after a very successful tour with\u00a0<strong>Hootie &amp; The Blowfish<\/strong>, and the global pandemic certainly made that happen.<\/p>\n<p>While Darius had the opportunity to play a drive-in concert back in July, he tells us it wasn&#8217;t the same as performing for packed venues.\u00a0<strong>[<\/strong>&#8220;It was great to be out there playing music with my band but everyone was so separated, so spread out that there was no feedback.
