\u27a2 “Schitt’s Creek”<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>won NINE Emmys last night, breaking the record for most wins by a comedy series in a single season.\u00a0 The cast swept the acting categories.\u00a0\u00a0Eugene Levy\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Catherine O’Hara\u00a0<\/strong>won Best Actor and Actress, and\u00a0Daniel Levy\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Annie Murphy\u00a0<\/strong>won for Supporting Actor and Actress.\u00a0 That’s the first time a comedy series has done that.<\/p>\n

Daniel Levy also set a record for most wins for an individual in a single season, with four.\u00a0 He also got trophies for writing and directing . . . plus Best Comedy Series, since he’s a producer.\u00a0 FYI,\u00a0“Schitt’s Creek”\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>had ZERO EMMYS heading into the night.<\/p>\n

Jimmy Kimmel\u00a0<\/strong>hosted the show, and winners were presented their awards at home or other remote locations.<\/p>\n

\u27a2 A missing cell phone in Malaysia turned up with the camera roll full of video and photos of a hungry monkey.\u00a0\u00a0Footage shared on social media shows the animal trying to eat the phone, lost by a 20-year-student in Malaysia.\u00a0\u00a0Zackrydz Rodzi told the BBC that his phone went missing on Sunday (September 13th).\u00a0\u00a0When he called the lost phone, he heard ringing coming from the jungle behind his house. Rodzi is unsure of how he lost the hone, but he suspects that the\u00a0\u00a0monkey may have climbed through his brother’s open window.<\/p>\n
