\u27a2A drunk California couple was trying to board a plane at Miami International Airport when they were stopped due to the woman being shoeless.\u00a0 She got so mad, she started to jump over the counter, before the guy she was with stopped her.\u00a0 They left and were soon\u00a0arrested<\/a>\u00a0after struggling with police.\u00a0 Here’s the incident that was caught on camera, and them being interviewed by a TV reporter when they left jail.<\/p>\n

\u27a2A diamond found in Northern Ontario two years ago has sold for a record price in an online auction, to an unnamed buyer who paid $15.7 million for the flawless, colourless\u00a0gem.<\/p>\n

The stone, which was cut from a\u00a0271-carat rough diamond found in a now closed mine\u00a0near Timmins in 2018, was highly touted for its D colour and flawless status, which means it is considered to be as close to a perfect, naturally occurring diamond as is possible.<\/p>\n

The stone, which is\u00a0about the size and shape of an egg was purchased by an unnamed Japanese man who\u00a0bought the stone for his second\u00a0daughter and prompty renamed it after her \u2014The\u00a0Maiko Star. He had previously bought a\u00a088.22-carat\u00a0diamond for his other daughter last year.\u00a0 In addition to setting on online record, the diamond is also the most expensive Canadian diamond ever sold, in any form.<\/p>\n

\u27a2 If you\u2019re helping your kids with their home-schooling these days, here\u2019s something to keep in mind: The average parent\u2019s science and math knowledge taps out around the sixth-grade level, according to new research. When asked to estimate the grade they\u2019d be placed into for both math and science if they took a test today, the average respondent said sixth grade for each. The survey of 2,000 American parents of school-aged children also found 42% of parents said they would be \u201clost\u201d trying to teach their child the math curriculum for their grade.<\/p>\n
