{"id":17853,"date":"2020-10-09T09:35:40","date_gmt":"2020-10-09T13:35:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cfcofm\/?p=17853"},"modified":"2020-10-09T08:05:02","modified_gmt":"2020-10-09T12:05:02","slug":"on-todays-show-478","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cfcofm\/blogs\/mornings\/2020\/10\/on-todays-show-478\/","title":{"rendered":"On Today&#8217;s Show"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u27a2By now, you&#8217;ve seen the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@420doggface208\/video\/6876424179084709126?referer_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nme.com%2Fnews%2Fmusic%2Fnathan-apodaca-dreams-tik-tok-clip-fleetwood-mac-viral-ocean-spray-truck-2776024&amp;referer_video_id=6876424179084709126\"><strong>video<\/strong><\/a>:\u00a0 A previously-unknown\u00a0<strong>NATHAN APODACA<\/strong>, skateboarding to work, drinking from a bottle of Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry juice, and singing\u00a0<em><strong>&#8220;Dreams&#8221;\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>by\u00a0<strong>FLEETWOOD MAC<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A lot has happened for Nathan since he went viral.\u00a0 Ocean Spray bought him a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/food\/ocean-spray-gives-tiktok-star-a-new-truck-following-fleetwood-mac-cranberry-juice-viral-video\/\"><strong>truck<\/strong><\/a>, people have donated THOUSANDS of dollars to him,\u00a0<strong>MICK FLEETWOOD\u00a0<\/strong>posted a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@mickfleetwood\/video\/6879849755204259077?referer_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cbsnews.com%2Fnews%2Fmick-fleetwood-mac-tiktok-video-dreams-skateboard-nathan-apodaca%2F&amp;referer_video_id=6879849755204259077\"><strong>response<\/strong><\/a>, and he even has a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2020\/10\/08\/fleetwood-mac-dreams-skateboarder-doggface-merchandise-sales-booming\/\"><strong>clothing line<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0that&#8217;s blowing up.<\/p>\n<p>And now, Fleetwood Mac is getting a little something out of it, too.\u00a0 Yesterday,\u00a0<em>&#8220;Dreams&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0. . . which was first released in 1977 . . . hit #1 on iTunes.\u00a0 And their\u00a0<em>&#8220;Greatest Hits&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0album was #5.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>And the kicker is, he was skateboarding to work because his truck broke down. He was living in a trailer without running water, parking in front of his brother&#8217;s house.\u00a0 If anyone had a reason to be sour at that particular moment, it was Nathan Apodaca.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2People can make silly decisions when they\u2019re drunk\u2014but this is next level. A college student in the U.K. needed to be rescued by firefighters after getting her legs stuck inside a clothes dryer. Rosie Cole, age 21, says she and her friends were drinking wine and tequila on Tuesday night (September 29th) when she was challenged to try and fit inside the appliance. Cole, who attends University of Hull, says she climbed in legs-first, and even managed to shimmy in her hips before she realized she\u2019d made a terrible mistake. She was unable to uncross her legs inside the dryer and her roommates were unable to free her. Firefighters were able to free Cole within 20 minutes, and of course her friends filmed the whole debacle.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 There&#8217;s a 30-year-old guy named Mark Rofe in Sheffield, England . . . and back in January, he spent $550 to rent a billboard to try to find himself a girlfriend.\u00a0 It said, quote, &#8220;Single?\u00a0 Date Mark.\u00a0 This could be the sign you&#8217;ve been waiting for.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And somehow, it actually worked. \u00a0A 28-year-old woman reached out to Mark through the website he put on the billboard. He says she reached out, quote, &#8220;before it got any mainstream media attention&#8221; . . . and they started talking. He wound up going on a date with her, as well as two other women who applied, but he connected with her the most . . . and now they&#8217;re in a relationship and in love.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 \u00a0Your taste in music might be formed because of your parents&#8217; height. \u00a0According to a new study, babies with shorter parents like faster music, and babies with taller parents like slower music.\u00a0 The researchers think it&#8217;s because shorter parents take faster steps when they&#8217;re walking around with the baby . . . so the baby likes that faster rhythm.<\/p>\n<p>So does that preference carry over as you get older?\u00a0 It would certainly make sense, although there will need to be more studies to figure it out.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2&#8221;The Tonight Show,&#8221; Daniel Craig told Jimmy what he won&#8217;t miss about playing James Bond. The Bills-Titans game was moved to Tuesday night at 7 p.m. ET on CBS as long as the Titans don&#8217;t have any more positive tests. Tennessee had two more positives yesterday for a total of 23 since September 29th. The Broncos-Patriots game was moved to Monday at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN. The Patriots have had two players and one player on the practice squad test positive.
