Early Tuesday (January 5th) a group of burglars broke into the cellar at the Domaine de Rymska, a hotel in the Burgundy region of France known for its wine, and stole bottles estimated to be worth about $430,000.<\/p>\n<p>The thieves loaded up the stolen wine into a van and were ready to take off, but had managed to set off a fire alarm during the break-in. The hotel owner awoke and called police. Officials caught up with the van as it drove toward the city of Lyon, and the thieves hurled bottles of wine at officers in an attempt to slow them down. None of the bottles hit the police, who chased the thieves until they crashed into a toll barrier. They fled after the crash, leaving the stolen wine behind. Police are working to identify the three suspects in the case.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>COPS: BURGLAR BUTT-DIALED US WHILE BURGLING <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Technology is not always helpful. Police in Britain say they got a \u201csuspicious call\u201d related to a burglary on Wednesday (January 6th), and it actually came from the clueless burglars themselves. Police explain one of the men had butt-dialed 9-9-9, the country\u2019s emergency number, allowing authorities to listen in on their crime.<\/p>\n<p>The call even detailed \u201call of their antics up to the point of hearing our patrols arrive to arrest them,\u201d according to police. Researchers Suggest Adding CBD<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Having a hard time keeping your strawberries fresh? It\u2019s a fairly common problem. This leaves strawberry consumers with a decision to make &#8211; eat those strawberries right away or accept that some of them will go to waste.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>But now researchers at the University of South Florida are suggesting a surprising solution to this fruit dilemma &#8211; adding a little bit of CBD. The impeachment process was very swift, coming just a week after last Wednesday&#8217;s attack.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Despite the impeachment, Trump is virtually guaranteed to end his term as scheduled on January 20th, with Senate\u00a0<strong>Majority Leader Mitch McConnell<\/strong>\u00a0saying the earliest an impeachment trial could start is next Tuesday, the day before\u00a0<strong>President-elect Joe Biden<\/strong>&#8216;s inauguration. A trial can be held after Trump leaves office, and would have as a main goal preventing him from being able to hold federal office again.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>It\u2019s Dame Helen Mirren\u2019s chance to get behind the wheel in \u201cFast And Furious 9\u201d. Vin Diesel has confirmed that Mirren will get to drive in the delayed sequel. The song is on a CD which is locked away at her Dollywood theme park in Tennessee with strict instructions not to open it for 30 years.
