Rupert Ellis lives in Cornwall, England, and says he believes his house is haunted, and recently found a vault door behind one of his walls while trying to hang a poster. He thought the find was strange, as he had left the framed poster leaning against that same spot for over a year. He says the walk-in vault was used for storing mine and mineral maps, and at some point it was bricked up and plastered over. He adds that when he first moved in he used to get woken up by lots of banging at the same time each night, and friends who stayed with him have reported hearing footsteps.

➢ Annie Murphy is supporting Toronto’s Encampment Support Network.
