Mike Jack of London downed three Carolina reaper chilis\u2014the hottest chili peppers in the world\u2014in 9.72 seconds to break a world record. Guinness World Records shared\u00a0 a video of the attempt taking place in London, Ontario. Per Guinness rules&#8211; each pepper weighed a minimum of 0.18 ounces, and Jack provided a certificate verifying that the peppers were in fact California reapers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 Doctors in Japan say a man who accidentally ingested a toothpick had to deal with months of pain in his back and leg\u2014all because the toothpick got stuck in his rectum. The 67-year-old man came in with back issues that doctors decided could be solved with surgery, but when they did a CT scan before the operation they found a 7-centimeter-long toothpick in his behind. Six days later the man\u2019s leg pain got worse, and doctors removed the toothpick. After that, the man\u2019s pain went away and never returned. The electricity harvested from the fibers of this special clothing would be stored in a battery nestled in a pocket. The battery would be connected to a device either via a cable or wirelessly.
