Medal of Freedom<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Can you imagine turning down the Presidential Medal of Freedom?\u00a0\u00a0<strong>DOLLY PARTON<\/strong>\u00a0can.\u00a0 She may say NO to President Biden if he offers it to her.\u00a0 Nothing personal, she just wants to be fair after turning down President Trump twice.<\/p>\n<p>She talked about it in on\u00a0<em><strong>&#8220;Today with Hoda and Jenna&#8221;<\/strong><\/em>. \u00a0They brought up President Obama\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisebrother.com\/tcs\/story\/148564\"><strong>admitting<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0he screwed-up by not giving Dolly the medal, and then saying he&#8217;d call Joe Biden about it.\u00a0 They asked if the call has come in.<\/p>\n<p>She said, quote, &#8220;Well, I actually have to be honest in all fairness. \u00a0I got offered the freedom award from the Trump administration and I couldn&#8217;t accept it because my husband was ill.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Then they asked me again about it and I wouldn&#8217;t travel because of the COVID, so now I feel like if I take it I&#8217;ll be doing politics. \u00a0So, I&#8217;m not sure.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>While we&#8217;re on the subject: \u00a0There&#8217;s a Dolly Parton class being taught at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida.\u00a0 The students study all things Dolly, including how her music addresses cultural issues like gender, class, and
