{"id":20171,"date":"2021-02-09T09:35:36","date_gmt":"2021-02-09T14:35:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cfcofm\/?p=20171"},"modified":"2021-02-09T05:13:03","modified_gmt":"2021-02-09T10:13:03","slug":"on-todays-show-543","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cfcofm\/blogs\/mornings\/2021\/02\/on-todays-show-543\/","title":{"rendered":"On Today&#8217;s Show"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u27a2 A woman in Louisiana\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wbrz.com\/news\/girl-who-went-viral-for-using-gorilla-glue-in-hair-goes-to-st-bernard-parish-hospital-for-treatment\/\">went<\/a>\u00a0viral over the weekend after she posted an Instagram video about how she used Gorilla Glue spray on her hair instead of hairspray . . . and her hair hasn&#8217;t moved in a month.\u00a0 She went to the ER on Saturday . . . but it turns out that after 22 hours of trying different things to get the glue out, nothing worked.\u00a0 She was discharged and the hospital told her to keep using rubbing alcohol on her hair, but it hasn&#8217;t worked.<\/p>\n<p>So now, Tessica has apparently hired an attorney and she&#8217;s thinking about SUING Gorilla Glue.<\/p>\n<p>The label on the Gorilla Glue spray says not to use it on eyes, skin, or clothing . . . but it doesn&#8217;t mention hair.<\/p>\n<p>Gorilla Glue put out a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GorillaGlue\/status\/1358860682771509248\"><strong>response<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0yesterday saying they&#8217;re sorry to hear about Tessica&#8217;s situation but, quote, &#8220;this product is not indicated for use in or on hair, as it is considered permanent . . . it is used for craft, home, auto, or office projects.&#8221;\u00a0 Tessica has also started a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/gorilla-glue-girl\"><strong>GoFundMe<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0where she&#8217;s already raised nearly\u00a0$13,000.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 And you thought stray cats living under your porch is a bad problem to have. A person living in Lake Tahoe, Montana, recently shared a video of a black bear living under his porch. The video shows the bear making warning noises and scratching the dirt with its paws. The person shooting the video then goes up onto the deck and stomps to scare the bear off.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 A guy in Massachusetts named Bradford Gauthier\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcboston.com\/news\/local\/worcester-man-undergoes-surgery-to-remove-swallowed-airpod\/2295496\/\">went<\/a>\u00a0to bed with his wireless headphones in last week . . . ate one in his sleep . . . and had to go to the hospital.\u00a0 He realized he had something in his throat the next morning, but didn&#8217;t know what it was.\u00a0 When he couldn&#8217;t find one of his AirPods, he used an app to make it beep, but the battery was dead.\u00a0 And he&#8217;s glad because if it HAD beeped, he really would have freaked out.<\/p>\n<p>He says the headphone still works, but the microphone is glitchy.\u00a0 So he might have to buy a new one to replace it.\u00a0 And he&#8217;s speaking out to warn other people that falling asleep with headphones in might be risky.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 \u201cJeopardy!\u201d has announced its next batch of celebrity guest hosts. Researchers from The Netherlands analyzed several old studies and found that the simple act of listening to music around the time of heart surgery may help patients recover.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The scientists say the majority of the time the music used was relaxing and did not have strong rhythms or percussion, and the choice of music varied; sometimes it was from the patients\u2019 own playlists, but other times it was preselected playlists or chosen by their doctor.
