Some students at a school in Potter, Nebraska got sick last week after they ate the chili in the school cafeteria.<\/p>\n

And what was in that chili?\u00a0 KANGAROO MEAT.<\/p>\n

Not by accident, either.\u00a0 The school’s head cook says he ordered kangaroo meat from their food distributor Sysco because it’s LEAN and nutritious.<\/p>\n

Now, they’re pretty sure the meat wasn’t TAINTED and I guess there’s a chance it ISN’T what made the kids sick . . . but it really seems like there has to be a connection there.\u00a0 Their stomachs just weren’t ready to handle kangaroo.<\/p>\n

And the school FIRED the head cook earlier this week so . . . yeah.\u00a0 The school also sent a letter to parents on Wednesday promising they would never, quote, “Be serving food of this nature again.\u00a0 Period.”<\/p>\n

An ad on Craigslist by a man known as Emilio says he is hoping to hunt down a 2018 Porsche GT2 RS. That\u2019s actually a bit more difficult than it might initially sound, thanks in no small part to the fact that only 1,000 of the cars were made, and they were all allegedly pre-sold before Porsche even publicly announced the car\u2019s existence.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s offering up a private island valued at $555,000. The Porsche in question runs just shy of $300,000, which might sound like an incredibly good trade opportunity for any of the 1,000 owners who might want their own island.<\/p>\n

The island measures just three acres, and its one of many small chunks of land strewn along a huge stretch of the west coast of Florida. There\u2019s not much actually on the island aside from grass, a small wooded area, and a beachfront.<\/p>\n

“Halloween”<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0raked in $77.5 million to win the box office this weekend.\u00a0 That’s not only the biggest debut of all the\u00a0“Halloween”<\/em>\u00a0movies; it’s also the biggest opening in history for a movie with a female lead over 55 years old. JAMIE LEE CURTIS<\/strong>\u00a0turns 60 next month.<\/p>\n

“A Star Is Born”<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0was a distant second, making $19.3 million in its third week.<\/p>\n

“Venom”<\/strong><\/em>, $18.1 million, was third.<\/p>\n

OLG says one of seven $1-million Maxmillions tickets was sold in London.<\/p>\n

A total of 16 Maxmillions winners from Friday were sold across Ontario, with prizes ranging from $250,000 to a million. These winning tickets come as OLG prepares to offer a record payout in next Friday\u2019s Lotto Max draw, with $115-million in prizes up for grabs.<\/p>\n
