\u27a2<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>George Segal from “The Goldbergs” and “Just Shoot Me!”\u00a0<\/span>died<\/span><\/a>\u00a0yesterday of complications from bypass surgery.\u00a0 He was 87.\u00a0 (Here’s a montage from both of those series. A new episode of “The Goldbergs” airs tonight.)<\/span><\/p>\n

\u27a2<\/span>\u00a0 A winery in California called Murphy-Goode is hiring someone off the Internet to move to wine country for a year, drink wine, and learn the industry.\u00a0 And they’re going to pay $120,000 for the year, plus they’ll give you a free place to live.\u00a0 If you’re interested, you can submit a video by the end of June telling them why you want the job.\u00a0 (Here’s the CEO of their parent company talking about why a lot of people looking to change careers might be interested.)<\/span><\/p>\n

\u27a2<\/span>\u00a0 You hear a lot of people rage quitting jobs.\u00a0 You don’t usually hear about a COMPANY raging over someone quitting.\u00a0 And then getting revenge on them like THIS.<\/span><\/p>\n

A guy named Andreas Flaten gave his two weeks’ notice back in November at an Auto works store in Georgia.\u00a0 And he says the owner was very upset.<\/span><\/p>\n

But the company still owed Andreas $915 . . . and they never sent it to him.\u00a0 He wound up calling the Georgia Department of Labor to complain.<\/span><\/p>\n

And the company finally delivered his paycheck . . . by dumping 500 POUNDS of PENNIES covered in OIL on his driveway.\u00a0 There was also a nasty note.<\/span><\/p>\n

Andreas says he quit the job because it was a toxic work environment . . . and this really backs that up.\u00a0 He shoveled the pennies into his garage and he’s working on cleaning the oil off so he can cash them in. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u27a2<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>A high-school cheerleader in Nebraska named Kaela Meyer\u00a0<\/span>was<\/span><\/a>\u00a0having lunch with her mom at Applebee’s when a guy had a seizure.\u00a0 So she did CPR, which she just learned in November.\u00a0 And paramedics say she may have saved his life.<\/span><\/p>\n

Have you ever wondered how soap operas are handling all the kissing scenes in the age of COVID-19?<\/span><\/p>\n

Well, one\u00a0show\u00a0is REALLY putting some effort into it.<\/span><\/p>\n

The British soap\u00a0<\/span>“Coronation Street”<\/span><\/i>\u00a0has gone to the trouble of finding\u00a0<\/span>LOOKALIKES<\/span><\/a>\u00a0to serve as Extras for those kissing close-ups . . . who also happen to be couples in REAL LIFE.\u00a0\u00a0(???)<\/span><\/p>\n

Due to restrictions, they’re also filming the actors having conversations SEPARATELY . . . and then editing it together in a way that makes it look like they’re sitting together.<\/span><\/p>\n

This seems crazy . . . but at the same time, it IS a unique situation.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Most movies and shows will go into production for a few weeks at a time.\u00a0 So if there’s a lot of close contact or kissing required, they can quarantine first, and then operate freely within a production “bubble.” But with soaps, it’s a more ongoing gig.\u00a0 They’re filming constantly . . . and the actors are INTIMATE constantly.<\/span><\/p>\n

A few months back, we\u00a0<\/span>heard<\/span><\/a>\u00a0Lifetime movies were having actors kiss through plexiglass barriers, and then editing them out.\u00a0 It’s unclear if this soap tried that, or if it would still require the actors to be too close for local restrictions.<\/span><\/p>\n

          Car Thief Stops to Help Someone with a Flat Tire, and They Steal His Stolen Car<\/b><\/p>\n

          A 21-year-old guy in Maryland named Shamari Reid was driving around with a friend in a stolen SUV last week.\u00a0 And they decided to do a GOOD deed for a change.<\/span><\/p>\n

          They spotted a random guy on the side of the road changing a flat.\u00a0 So they pulled over and offered to help.<\/span><\/p>\n

          But then while they were helping him, the guy jumped into the SUV and tried to STEAL their ALREADY stolen car.<\/span><\/p>\n

          He threw it in reverse and tried to drive off.\u00a0 But he slammed into a curb and got stuck.<\/span><\/p>\n

          The flat tire guy is 19-year-old Tykel Wilson.\u00a0 He ended up pulling a gun on them but threw it in the bush before the cops got there.<\/span><\/p>\n

          It turned out the car he’d been driving was also stolen, and both men had active warrants out.\u00a0 Now they’re each facing fresh charges as well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

          SELF-DRIVING TESLA HITS MICHIGAN STATE POLICE CAR ON FREEWAY\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

          Just because you put your car on autopilot doesn\u2019t mean you can stop paying attention. Michigan State Police say a Tesla on autopilot hit one of their police cars early yesterday morning (March 17th) on I-96.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

          The police car was parked with its emergency lights on while investigating a nearby car-deer crash when the Tesla hit. The 22-year-old driver was cited for failure to move over and driving while license suspended. No one was injured in the crash. Tesla\u2019s website notes that the autopilot function in the car allows it to \u201csteer, accelerate and brake automatically within its lane,\u201d but does not make the vehicle autonomous and requires supervision.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

          A Man Stole a Police Car While He Was Being Arrested for Stealing a Police Car<\/b><\/p>\n

          A guy in his 30s stole a police car in Levis, Quebec Monday afternoon when the cops were responding to a report.<\/span><\/p>\n

          Other cops spotted the police car on a highway and got into a chase . . . which ended when the guy crashed into a concrete barrier.<\/span><\/p>\n

          The cops swarmed him and tried to arrest him, but he got away . . . and stole THEIR police car.<\/span><\/p>\n

          So that led to ANOTHER chase.\u00a0 And this time when they caught the guy, they arrested him and he didn’t manage to steal a third police car.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To avoid all of this, the experts advise you get tests to find out what you\u2019re allergic to so you can avoid it, and then consider taking an allergy medication that is non-drowsy.                   Executives at the\u00a0<\/span>Academy of Country Music<\/span><\/i>\u00a0say that after they saw\u00a0<\/span>Mickey Guyton\u2019s<\/b>\u00a0performance at the 2020\u00a0<\/span>ACM<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span>Awards<\/span><\/i>, they made the choice to ask her to host\u2026 almost immediately.<\/span><\/p>\n

                  Chris Young<\/b>\u00a0is joined by his good friend\u00a0<\/span>Kane Brown\u00a0<\/b>on his latest single, “Famous Friends.” The two met a few years ago and became fast friends, bonding over their love of video games and sports, among other things. Chris tells us these are a few of the things the two like to do and discuss when they get the chance to hang out.\u00a0<\/span>[“You know, he’s a gamer, so I love Call of Duty. That guy is a fiend about playing and I know he gets on Twitch and does that a lot so we’ll discuss like what layouts we want, what are your settings, what do you use . . . anyway, big, big gamer, and obviously like sports back and forth like constantly.                   GARY LEVOX RELEASES SOLO CHRISTIAN SONG\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

                  Gary LeVox<\/b>, the longtime lead singer of\u00a0<\/span>Rascal Flatts<\/b>, has released a new Christian solo track he co-wrote called \u201cThe Distance.\u201d He has also released a performance video of the track.<\/span><\/p>\n

                  Gary said, \u201cThe Distance\u201d was the first song written for my solo chapter. With the struggles and battles so many have gone through this past year and taken over people\u2019s everyday lives, this felt like a true song of hope.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

                  Gary has been fronting Rascal Flatts for the past 20 years alongside\u00a0<\/span>Jay DeMarcus<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Joe Don Rooney<\/b>. While the shift to being a solo artist is bittersweet, Gary tells us it was also a necessary change.\u00a0<\/span>[“There’s mixed emotions. I mean, it feels great to be able to make the music that I want to make, I mean, not that I haven’t, but it’s just nice to have one opinion on what you’re cutting.
