A lone winning ticket for Friday night’s $60 million Lotto Max jackpot was sold in Edmonton. The draw also offered 56 Maxmillions prizes of $1 million each — and 27 of them were won.<\/p>\n

Those prizes will be shared amongst 36 winning ticket holders.<\/p>\n

The jackpot for the next Lotto Max draw on Nov. 2 will be approximately $39 million<\/p>\n

No winning ticket was sold for the $5 million jackpot in Saturday night’s Lotto 649 draw.<\/p>\n

However, the guaranteed $1 million prize was claimed by a ticket holder in Ontario.<\/p>\n

The jackpot for the next Lotto 649 draw on Oct. 31 will be approximately $7 million.<\/p>\n

Janes brand Pub Style Chicken Burgers have been recalled\u00a0because of possible salmonella contamination, says the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.<\/p>\n

Consumers should not consume the chicken burgers, which come in 800-gram packages with a best-before date of May 14, 2019. The UPC code is 0 69299 12491 0.<\/p>\n

The recalled products, which were sold across the country, should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.<\/p>\n

In its recall warning, the CFIA said salmonella investigations led by the Public Health Agency of Canada have linked frozen raw breaded chicken products to 25 illnesses in nine provinces \u2014 one in B.C., three in Alberta, three in Saskatchewan, one in Manitoba, 12 in Ontario, two in Quebec, one in New Brunswick, one in P.E.I., and one in Newfoundland and Labrador.<\/p>\n

I’d go with the yellow part, since if it were a real corn kernel, I’d consider that the top.<\/p>\n
