{"id":21910,"date":"2021-04-26T09:35:16","date_gmt":"2021-04-26T13:35:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cfcofm\/?p=21910"},"modified":"2021-04-26T09:53:53","modified_gmt":"2021-04-26T13:53:53","slug":"on-todays-show-588","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cfcofm\/blogs\/mornings\/2021\/04\/on-todays-show-588\/","title":{"rendered":"On Today&#8217;s Show"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u27a2 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A guy near L.A. named Rene Compean\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbclosangeles.com\/news\/california-news\/missing-hiker-mt-waterman-photo-search\/2572468\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">went<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0hiking recently and got stranded overnight.\u00a0 He&#8217;d texted a photo to a friend of his legs dangling off a rock overlooking a canyon.\u00a0 Then later, he said he was lost and that his phone was dying.\u00a0 So rescuers started searching, and posted the photo in case anyone knew the area.\u00a0 And a random guy named Ben Kuo saved the day.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ben has a weird hobby, where he enjoys looking at random photos to see if he can figure out where they were taken.\u00a0 So he got to work . . . figured out the general area . . . told the cops . . . and they found Rene.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u27a2 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There&#8217;s a guy in Taiwan who got married last year.\u00a0 And there are some local labor laws that gave him eight paid days off from his job at a bank after getting married.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But once those eight days were over, he divorced the woman . . . and married her again to get eight more days.\u00a0 Then he did that again.\u00a0 And again. The guy wound up taking off 32 out of 37 days thanks to his four &#8220;marriages&#8221; all to the same woman.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The bank where he worked caught on REALLY quickly to what he was doing and they told him they&#8217;d only pay him for the first eight days.\u00a0 So he filed a complaint with a labor board.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">And the board actually took his side . . . and so did an appeals board.\u00a0 They both said that even though what he did was unethical, it was legal . . . the guy just found one hell of a loophole and took advantage of it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">So the guy got his back pay, and the bank was fined $700.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u27a2 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A former hotel worker shared a few secrets that you may not know.\u00a0 Listen to her talk about them,\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@amandasuehunt\/video\/6948797773563088134?lang=en&amp;is_copy_url=0&amp;is_from_webapp=v1&amp;sender_device=pc&amp;sender_web_id=6900593829213193734\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u00a0 (They almost never wash the comforters . . . the &#8220;busy&#8221; front desk workers spend a lot of time playing computer games and watching Netflix . . . and there are cameras in ALL of the public areas so they WILL see you doing your weird and freaky things in places like the hallways and pool.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u27a2 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">After a hard year, \u201cSurvivor\u201d is finally coming back. if you&#8217;d like some more.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Two winning tickets were sold in Ontario for Friday night&#8217;s $10 million Lotto Max jackpot.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Each is worth $5 million.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The jackpot for the next Lotto Max draw tomorrow will be an estimated $10 million.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">No winning ticket was sold for the $8 million jackpot in Saturday night&#8217;s Lotto 649 draw.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">However, the guaranteed $1 million prize went to a lottery player in Ontario.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The jackpot for the next Lotto 649 draw Wednesday will be approximately $12 million.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Chris Janson Tried to Put Out His House Fire with Buckets of Water<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In an interview with\u00a0<\/span><b><i>&#8220;<\/i><\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/country\/chris-janson-reflects-on-recent-house-fire-could-have-been-very-bad\/\"><b><i>People<\/i><\/b><\/a><b><i>&#8220;<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">,\u00a0<\/span><b>CHRIS JANSON<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0gave the frightening details about his house fire earlier this month. \u00a0As you may have heard, everyone got out safely, and no one was injured.\u00a0 Here&#8217;s what happened.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The whole family was asleep when his wife Kelly heard a beep coming from downstairs, so she woke him up.\u00a0 He said, quote, &#8220;If it weren&#8217;t for her hearing that faint &#8216;beep, beep&#8217; of the fire detector, it could have been very bad.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The fire was in his basement studio right below their bedroom.\u00a0 He called 911, and Kelly and the two kids evacuated. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Then he tried to put out the fire with huge buckets of water.\u00a0 Quote, &#8220;I went into survival mode.\u00a0 This was not a little fire.\u00a0 This was a legit, &#8216;7-foot flame, taller than me&#8217;
