\u27a2 <\/span>A woman in England recently\u00a0<\/span>bought<\/span><\/a>\u00a0a three-bedroom house right next to a highway.\u00a0 And now she’s complaining about the noise.\u00a0 The internet isn’t too sympathetic, because she went to seven viewings of the house before she and her husband finally bought it.\u00a0 But she says they only visited in off hours when it wasn’t so loud.\u00a0 Now she wants the city to lower the speed limit, so cars don’t go so fast.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u27a2 <\/span>Police in Kingston, New Hampshire, got a bunch of 9-1-1 calls last Tuesday after terrified homeowners heard a loud explosion. They responded to a quarry where they found a family that said they held a gender reveal party with 80 pounds of Tannerite explosive, which is sold over the counter for use in firearms practice.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The explosives were set off with blue chalk to announce a baby boy. The shockwaves from the blast were so strong that a local\u2019s doorbell camera shook visibly, and some residents complained that the foundations to their homes were damaged.\u00a0 Police say the family thought the quarry was the safest spot to blow up the material, and they\u2019re believed to have had permission from the quarry owners to be there.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Police also say the person responsible for purchasing and setting off the explosives turned themselves into police and is cooperating with the investigation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u27a2 <\/span>This seems like it was a bad plan all along. Police in Nanaimo, B.C. say a man there suffered serious lacerations to his hand after he poured gunpowder into an open flame. Police investigated after they got reports of an explosion in someone\u2019s backyard. They learned a group of men were around a fire and decided to pour gunpowder onto the open flame to see what the reaction would be. The fire ran up the pouring gunpowder into the metal container in which it was being held, and then exploded. Metal shards from the explosion ended up severely lacerating the man\u2019s hand who was holding the container. Police say he was taken to a hospital and later released. Police believe that alcohol was a contributing factor in the incident, and that no charges are being considered.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u27a2 <\/span>“The Rocky Horror Picture Show” has played at a theater in Portland, Oregon every Saturday night for 43 years, and they didn’t break the tradition during the pandemic.\u00a0 One guy came to the theater every Saturday night for 54 weeks to\u00a0<\/span>screen the movie<\/b><\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There’s a 39-year-old guy named Takashi Miyagawa in Osaka, Japan.\u00a0 And he managed to get into relationships with 35 DIFFERENT WOMEN at the same time . . . by selling shower products door-to-door for a multi-level marketing pyramid scheme.<\/span><\/p>\n

So why did he have so many girlfriends?\u00a0 It seems like he wasn’t in it for the sex or emotional companionship or even out of some deep insecurity about his own handsomeness and charm . . . he was just in it for the presents.<\/span><\/p>\n

Because he would tell each of his girlfriends that his birthday was on a different date . . . so they’d buy him a steady flow of gifts.<\/span><\/p>\n

His scam blew up in February when a few of his girlfriends found out about each other . . . and then they started tracking down more women who thought they were in a relationship with this guy.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And his scam wasn’t even THAT lucrative.\u00a0 For all the work he put in . . . which included keeping track of the women and the lies he told them on an Excel spreadsheet . . . he only took down around $1,400 in presents. And now, he’s facing fraud charges.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

          MsCarrotTop was commenting on another clip in which fellow Tiktoker Flynnwest claimed: \u201cI just found out there are people who shower facing towards the shower.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

          In response, MsCarrotTop says: \u201cYou guys, like get in the shower and you wash your body. And then you turn around when you need to wash your hair, right?\u2026RIGHT?\u201d Apparently not.           SLEEPING POSITION:<\/b>
          \n<\/span>\u21d2<\/span> Your sleeping position can affect your health and mood in more ways than many of us realize, and there\u2019s an ideal sleep posture to aim for each night: sleeping on your side.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

          That\u2019s according to Dr. Robert Hayden, a Georgia-based chiropractor and American Chiropractic Association spokesperson. He says sleeping on your side keeps your spine straight and aligned, since \u201cit will help prevent stress points that may aggravate joints and connective tissue.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

          And side sleeping is crucial for those who snore or suffer from sleep apnea since it helps keep airways open, says Dr. Natalie Dautovich, environmental scholar at the National Sleep Foundation. To facilitate and maintain the side sleeping position, Dr. Hayden recommends placing a body pillow under your torso to support your upper arm and knee.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

          THE TRUTH COMES OUT IN THE WASH:<\/b>
          \n<\/span>Ever since the beginning of the pandemic, it\u2019s been drilled into our heads: Wash your hands. Often. Scrub for a full 20 seconds, the time it takes to sing \u2018Happy Birthday\u2019 twice. Repeat whenever possible.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

           <\/p>\n

          But it seems these days, handwashing has fallen to pre-Covid levels. While last June, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found Americans said they were lathering up twice as often as they did in 2019, a survey done in January found only 57% were washing their hands 6 or more times a day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

           <\/p>\n

          That\u2019s a big drop from the 78% of people who said they were washing hands frequently early in the pandemic. And in April 2020, only 27% admitted to just rinsing their hands after using a public bathroom, rather than using soap. In January of this year, it was up to 48%. Among those who study things like this, these people are known as \u201crinse and runs\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

                  DARIUS RUCKER PAYS HOMAGE TO LATE FIREFIGHTER AND BIG FAN\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

                  Darius Rucker\u00a0<\/b>recently offered his condolences and helped honor the memory of a fallen firefighter lost in the line of duty. He got on a video call with Columbian Fire Company Number One in Rockland County, New York to chat with the guys about the loss of firefighter<\/span>\u00a0Jared Lloyd<\/b>, who died while battling a blaze last month. The late firefighter was a big fan of Darius’, even naming one of his sons after the singer.<\/span><\/p>\n

                  The 30-minute zoom conversation was recorded by Audacy Country host\u00a0<\/span>Kelly Ford<\/b>, who helped orchestrate the virtual visit.<\/span><\/p>\n
