\u27a2<\/span> \u00a0<\/span>Early on the morning of May 26th, the Blood Moon, named for its red glow, will be visible from North America. According to NASA, the Blood Moon is visible during a total lunar eclipse when the Earth aligns itself between the moon and the sun.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Notably, this Blood Moon will be a combination of May\u2019s full Flower Moon, which is classified as a supermoon, and a total lunar eclipse.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The following supermoon, the \u201cStrawberry Moon\u201d will be visible on June 24th, and there are three more eclipses scheduled to take place before 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u27a2 <\/span>A new study shows that 53% of people wouldn’t date someone who likes their\u00a0<\/span>steak cooked<\/span><\/a>\u00a0differently than they do.\u00a0 Only 10% of people like their steak well-done… and apparently they’re bound to be lonely forever.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u27a2 <\/span>\u201cF9,\u201d the ninth installment in the \u201cFast & Furious\u201d franchise, doesn\u2019t open in North American theaters until June 25, but it\u2019s already off to a hot start at the box office. The film, which stars Vin Diesel as the street racer turned master thief turned super spy, took in $162.4 million internationally over the weekend. Of that total, $135.6 million came from China \u2014 the biggest movie market in the world. That marks the biggest opening for a Hollywood film during the pandemic so far. \u201cF9\u2019s\u201d solid performance is welcome news for a movie theater industry looking to rebound after a horrible year.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u27a2 If you want to impress your guests with expensive wine but can\u2019t afford it, lie to them about the price of the cheap stuff. A new study found what deep down we already kind-of knew:\u00a0 the more we think a wine costs, the better we think it tastes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The researchers tested volunteers with three Italian red wines. When the cheapest wine was given falsely-high pricing, it was judged the most pleasant of the three. The researchers say \u201cdeceptive up-pricing of low-price wine significantly influenced ratings for pleasantness. . . [so] subjective experience may lie in the price.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
