\u27a2 <\/span>A woman is on the run after causing a massive pileup during Stage 1 of the Tour de France on Saturday.<\/span><\/p>\n

The woman had a cardboard sign saying “Allez Opi-Omi!” . . . which is a mix of French and German that means something like “Go grandpa-grandma!”\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>(???)<\/b><\/p>\n

As the racers approached, she stepped into the road to hold the sign out, causing\u00a0<\/span>TONY MARTIN<\/b>\u00a0to crash into it, go down, and take out a whole bunch of bikes behind him.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Most riders were able to continue after the crash, but a guy named\u00a0<\/span>Jasha Sutterlin<\/b>\u00a0had to leave the race. They haven’t been able to find the woman yet, but when they do, the Tour de France is going to\u00a0<\/span>sue her<\/b><\/a>.\u00a0 They hope it’ll deter other spectators from doing stupid things to get on camera.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u27a2 <\/span>Firefighters in New York had to use emergency tools to\u00a0<\/span>rescue<\/b><\/a>\u00a0a teenager from a clothing store fitting room on Tuesday.\u00a0 The store is in an old bank, and the fitting room area is in the old VAULT.\u00a0 While a 14-year-old girl was trying on clothes, her 7-year old brother closed the vault door, and the employees didn’t know how to open it.\u00a0 (Here are Giavanna Diesso, her mother Danielle Diesso, and Assistant Fire Chief Steve Erland.)<\/span><\/p>\n

\u27a2 <\/span>If you’re a wanted fugitive, you’ve gotta keep a low profile.\u00a0 In other words, not this . . .<\/span><\/p>\n

56-year-old Robert Morris has been wanted in New Hampshire for a while, but cops hadn’t been able to track him down until this past week . . . after he stole a 50-foot yacht worth $1 MILLION, and took it for a joyride.<\/span><\/p>\n

He stole the yacht from a marina in upstate New York, right on the border of Canada.\u00a0 And he tooled around in it for at least two days before a border patrol helicopter spotted him.<\/span><\/p>\n

He had an online court hearing and claimed he was just testing the boat out after fixing it up for the owner<\/span>. <\/span>He also tried to claim the owner gave him permission to use the boat, which wasn’t true.\u00a0 Then just for good measure, he flipped everyone off at the end of his hearing.\u00a0 He’s facing a bunch of charges, including possession of stolen property.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

                ROAD-RAGEOUS:<\/b>
                \n<\/span>Does the drive to work leave you in a bad mood all day long? Is road rage a \u201cthing\u201d for you? If so, you may be dealing with a case of \u201caccelerousal.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

                That\u2019s according researchers at the University of Houston, who say some drivers have no problem staying calm, cool, and collected behind the wheel \u2014 regardless of traffic, the antics of other drivers, or other road nuisances.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

                 <\/p>\n

                But others can\u2019t help but feel like they\u2019re going to explode. 11 drivers were monitored during a series of half-hour drives along the same route in the same minivan. Researchers found that about half of the drivers showed \u201cpeaked stress\u201d during moments of \u201ccommonplace acceleration,\u201d like stopping at a red light.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

                 <\/p>\n

                The other drivers stayed calm. The scientists coined the term \u201caccelerousal\u201d to describe stress provoked by acceleration events, even small ones. They say some people may be genetically predisposed to experiencing \u201caccelerousal\u201d. \u201cAccelaroused\u201d participants were also found to be much more exhausted after driving than others drivers.<\/span><\/p>\n
