\u27a2 <\/span>For the first time in its 2,000-year history, tourists will be able to explore the subterranean levels of the Roman Colosseum. These corridors and archways are where gladiators and animals would wait before being sent to combat in the upper arena. The historic opening is part of a decades-long total restoration of the famed site.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Archaeologists, restorers, engineers and architects are among the experts who worked to bring the landmark as close to its original state as possible. The team used photographic surveys, surface mapping, and the slow and meticulous job of washing away centuries of dirt. The Colosseum was built in 72 BCE.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u27a2 <\/span>The pandemic has normalized working from home, and many people would like to see it stick. A poll has found that 4 in 5 Canadians don\u2019t want to go back to their pre-pandemic schedule, with 35%, who are still working from home also saying they\u2019d quit their job if their employer forced them to work on-site. The poll, by market researcher Leger in collaboration with the Association for Canadian Studies, also found that 82% of Canadians give their working-at-home experience a positive review, and 40% say they\u2019d prefer a mix of days at home and in the office.<\/span><\/p>\n

        Discovery Will Analyze the Government’s UFO Files in Three-Hour Live Event<\/b><\/p>\n

        UFOs are big again.\u00a0 Who knows why?\u00a0 Maybe we’re so fed up with what’s happening on THIS planet, we want to explore our options.<\/span><\/p>\n

         <\/p>\n

        The government is about to release a summary of everything it knows about UFOs.\u00a0 Early\u00a0<\/span>reports<\/b><\/a>\u00a0indicate that it’ll be pretty inconclusive.\u00a0 But that isn’t stopping Discovery from milking it for all it’s worth.<\/span><\/p>\n

         <\/p>\n

        Wednesday at 8:00 P.M., they’re doing a three-hour LIVE event called\u00a0<\/span>“UFOs Declassified”<\/i><\/b>, where they analyze the report.\u00a0 It’ll be simulcast on Discovery, the Science Channel, and the Travel Channel.<\/span><\/p>\n
