\u27a2<\/span> An 82-year-old woman named\u00a0<\/span>Wally Funk<\/b><\/a>\u00a0trained with NASA in 1961 and did BETTER than the guys.\u00a0 But she never got to go to space because she’s a woman.<\/span><\/p>\n

But now 60 years later, that’s about to change.\u00a0 Because\u00a0<\/span>Jeff Bezos<\/b>\u00a0just announced she’ll be joining him on a Blue Origin rocket later this month.\u00a0 And she’ll also become the OLDEST person to go to space.<\/span><\/p>\n

The launch date is July 20th.\u00a0 Jeff’s brother is going too, along with someone who paid $28 million for a seat.\u00a0 Jeff posted a\u00a0<\/span>video<\/b><\/a>\u00a0with Wally on Instagram yesterday, and she’s thrilled about it.\u00a0 He said “no one has waited longer” than she has.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u27a2<\/span> After a few years of fighting, a woman in Hillsborough, California finally won the battle to keep her strange-looking house just as it is. The town decided to allow the house, which is designed to look like it\u2019s out of \u201cThe Flintstones,\u201d to keep additions recently made to the property.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The town had previously taken owner to court, claiming she had violated local codes. Her front yard features metal sculptures of dinosaurs, statues of the cartoon characters from the show, and more. The town argued these items were eyesores. When she ignored the town\u2019s stop-work orders back in 2019, the town sued her, and she, in turn, sued them back.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A decision last week was made that will allow her to keep her new yard additions and the town will also reportedly pay Fang $125,000.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u27a2 <\/span>In case you haven’t seen this:\u00a0 A woman wore the SAME Hawaiian shirt for 264 work Zoom meetings in a row, and no one said a word. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

          GOOD NEWS\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

          When boat captain Jennifer Dowker saw a small green bottle at the bottom of the Cheboygan River in Michigan, she picked it up, thinking it might keep a prospective client interested in scuba diving.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

           <\/p>\n

          But Dowker, the owner of Nautical North Family Adventures, which runs shipwreck tours and scuba diving lessons in Cheboygan, Michigan, found a message in the bottle dated from 1926.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

           <\/p>\n

          It read: “Will the person who finds this bottle, return this paper to George Morrow, Cheboygan, Michigan, and tell where it was found?”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

           <\/p>\n

          The name Morrow is fairly common in the area, so Dowker figured if she posted a picture of the note and the bottle on Facebook, the letter-writer would be found. She got a call from a woman named Michele Primeau on Father\u2019s Day, whose father, George Morrow, died in 1995.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

           <\/p>\n

          At the request of Primeau, Dowker and her team will hold the bottle in a shadowbox along with a photo of Primeau’s father from 1926.<\/span><\/p>\n

          More Than 80 People Were Caught . . . In an Illegal Coupon Ring?<\/b><\/p>\n

          Authorities near Houston, have just completed an eight-month investigation that uncovered an illegal, underground crime ring known as “Dark Side.”<\/span><\/p>\n

          More than 80 people involved with Dark Side have been identified.\u00a0 And what kind of crime was Dark Side wrapped up in? \u00a0They were producing counterfeit COUPONS.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

          You know, like 50 cents off toothpaste, diapers, cleaning wipes, and soap.<\/span><\/p>\n

          But they were allegedly doing it on a large scale.\u00a0 And one individual somehow purchased more than $200,000 worth of items from different stores in just ONE YEAR using these fake coupons.\u00a0 That’s nearly $550 a day.<\/span><\/p>\n

          The “thieves” made it look like these were discounts from manufacturers . . . and “stole” items from places like Walmart, Kroger, Target, and Walgreens.\u00a0 Then, they’d sell the items at flea markets and online.<\/span><\/p>\n

          The coupons only LOOKED legit . . . they wouldn’t actually work if you scanned them . . . but they were so convincing that store employees would honor them.\u00a0 One estimate claims the ring is responsible for $10 to $20 MILLION in losses.<\/span><\/p>\n

          A Fake Cop Pulled Over a Real Cop Who Recognized Him<\/b><\/p>\n

          Well this is unlucky:\u00a0 27-year-old Vincent Marks lives in Louisiana near Baton Rouge, and likes to PRETEND to be a cop.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

          And earlier this month, he pulled someone over near New Orleans.<\/span><\/p>\n

          His car had flashing lights, so the driver assumed it was a real cop and pulled into a parking lot.\u00a0 Then Vincent used his own car to block the guy in.<\/span><\/p>\n

          He whipped out a fake badge and acted like a police officer.\u00a0 But it turned out he picked the wrong person to mess with . . . because the driver happened to be a REAL cop who was off-duty.<\/span><\/p>\n

          The guy also recognized Vincent, because they’d had a run-in before.\u00a0 He was involved in some sort of domestic dispute earlier this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

          He’s facing charges for impersonating an officer.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

While there are no details about the situation, Chris posted a story on Instagram yesterday (Monday, July 5th) with the caption, “Spent the night in the hospital. If you pray, Dutty Buddy needs some prayers.”<\/span><\/p>\n

                          Chris and Lauren welcomed Dutton, who is their first child, on June 8th.<\/span><\/p>\n

                          TIM McGRAW, FAITH HILL SELL TENNESSEE FARM FOR $15 MILLION\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

                          Tim McGraw<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Faith Hill\u00a0<\/b>have sold their 620-acre farm in Franklin, TN for $15 million to a newly formed group of real estate investors. The property includes a home previously owned by\u00a0<\/span>Hank Williams, Sr.\u00a0<\/b>as well as one of Williamson County’s oldest antebellum properties called Beechwood Hall.<\/span><\/p>\n

                          Tim and Faith originally bought more than 750 acres of this property and sold 131 acres in 2015.<\/span><\/p>\n

                          The couple are currently selling their nearly 20-acre private island in the Bahamas which is priced at $35 million, according to\u00a0<\/span>The New York Post<\/span><\/i>. Tim and Faith purchased the island, called L\u2019\u00eele d\u2019Anges, in 2003 but didn’t actually complete the residence and move in until 2012.<\/span><\/p>\n
