\u27a2 <\/span>\u00a0A sealed 1996\u00a0<\/span>“Super Mario 64”<\/i><\/b>\u00a0set a record Sunday for MOST EXPENSIVE game ever sold. \u00a0It was purchased for $1.56 MILLION during an auction.\u00a0<\/span>This record broke one that was JUST set last Friday from the same\u00a0<\/span>auction house<\/b><\/a>.\u00a0 It was another Nintendo game . . . an unopened 1986\u00a0<\/span>“Legend of Zelda”<\/i><\/b>\u00a0for the NES . . . sold for $870,000. \u00a0 FYI . . . don’t go rummaging through closets for YOUR old copies of these games.\u00a0 The “Zelda” game is a very rare, original version and only a handful were made.\u00a0 So yours most likely ISN’T one of them. In the case of\u00a0<\/span>“Mario”<\/i><\/b>, less than FIVE copies are known to exist that are still sealed and in such\u00a0<\/span>excellent condition<\/b><\/a>. In April, the auction house sold a copy of Nintendo\u2019s Super Mario Bros. that was bought in 1986 and forgotten about in a desk drawer for $660,000.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u27a2 <\/span>A Texas Goodwill found a copy of the Atari video game “<\/span>Air Raid<\/span><\/a>” inside of a donation box, which is apparently worth $10,000.\u00a0 Here is employee Alex Juarez talking about spotting the rare game which only has 13 known copies in the world.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u27a2 <\/span>I’m not sure what the exact definition of a “chip” is, but does this count?\u00a0 The hot new\u00a0<\/span>cooking trend<\/span><\/a>\u00a0on TikTok is to put pasta noodles in your air fryer . . . BURN them . . . and then brag about how good you are at making “PASTA CHIPS”.\u00a0<\/span>You can do it with any type of noodle, but things like spaghetti don’t seem like they’d work that well.\u00a0 Things like bow tie pasta and penne are better.\u00a0<\/span>First you boil the pasta like normal.\u00a0 Then you mix in olive oil, salt, pepper, and parmesan . . . or whatever you want to flavor them with.\u00a0 And after that, you pop them in your air fryer at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.\u00a0 Then serve them with dip.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u27a2 <\/span>Alcohol kills germs, but still. Coors Light has used ice collected from the rink at Amalie Arena during the Stanley Cup Final, which Tampa Bay Lightning won, to brew \u201cChampions Ice.\u201d The limited-edition beer will be available on tap in Tampa-area bars and in 32-ounce collectable \u201ccrowlers\u201d beginning next week\u2014including the day of the Lightning\u2019s Stanley Cup parade. Coors says to get the ice for the brewing process, they used shavings collected by the Lightning Ice Crew in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Montreal Canadiens. It put the shavings in stainless steel hydro-flasks and shipped them overnight to its brewery in Golden, Colorado. The team gave their blessing to Coors, the official beer of the team, to brew with the rink ice. Of course, blood and sweat can often be found on the ice during NHL games, but Coors says the water used to create the brew has been processed and cleansed.<\/span><\/p>\n
