\u27a2 <\/span>A couple in Georgia found 18 snakes under their bed.\u00a0 They were just garter snakes, but still.\u00a0 (Here are the wife, Trish Wilcher, talking about it, along with the Phinizy Center for Water Sciences Environmental Educator Camilla Sherman.)<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u27a2 <\/span>The entire staff of a Burger King in Lincoln, Nebraska walked out, and they announced it on the restaurant’s\u00a0<\/span>marquee<\/b><\/a>, saying, quote, “We all quit. \u00a0Sorry for the inconvenience.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The employees say it was justified, because they were overworked . . . understaffed . . . forced to work in a very hot kitchen without air conditioning . . . and corporate wouldn’t repair their broken equipment.<\/span><\/p>\n

So when the general manager of this location put in her two weeks’ notice, it started a chain reaction until EVERYONE wanted out. <\/span>Here are two employees explaining why they did it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u27a2 <\/span>This definitely isn’t in your Amazon driver’s job description.\u00a0 So somebody give this guy a raise:\u00a0 A woman in Texas was expecting a package the other day, and added a very specific request in the notes.<\/span><\/p>\n

She said to leave it by her trashcan, not on her porch . . . because a giant SPIDER had been out there all day, and she was too terrified to use the front door.\u00a0 She also said that if he’d KILL the spider for her, even better.\u00a0 And the guy actually did it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Her doorbell camera got it all on video, including a shot of the spider crawling on the lens.\u00a0 The Amazon guy showed up . . . found the spider on the wall . . . removed one of his shoes . . . and took it down.\u00a0 Now she wants to find out his name, so she can thank him.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u27a2 <\/span>A book\u00a0<\/span>300 years overdue<\/span><\/a>\u00a0was finally returned to the library at Sheffield Cathedral.\u00a0 The Rev. Canon Keith Farrow, explains that the 1704 printing of “The Faith and Practice of a Church of England Man”, arrived in the mail with a note of explanation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u27a2\u00a0 <\/span>Some thieves apparently don\u2019t consider all the evidence they might leave behind. The Daily Dot recently posted about a Doritos Locos Taco that went missing from a customer\u2019s delivery order. TikTok user @katelyn8560 revealed in a video that she recently placed a Taco Bell delivery order, but when it arrived, one of her tacos was missing. But she says she also got a photo of the order from her DoorDash delivery driver confirming the delivery of the food, and the picture accidentally included two of the delivery driver\u2019s fingers with what appeared to be orange smudges on them.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

          GOOD NEWS\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

          A Findlay, Ohio,\u00a0pizzeria owner decided to show\u00a0his appreciation for his employees and how hard they’ve been working during the pandemic by giving them a full day of sales.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

           <\/p>\n

          Josh Elchert, the owner of Heavenly Pizza, held an Employee Appreciation Day on July 5th, when he gave all $6,300 in sales from the day, plus $1,200 in tips, directly\u00a0to his workers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

           <\/p>\n

          Elchert posted on Facebook ahead of time about the day so that customers would know, and the pizzeria fulfilled 220 orders that day, more than double the usual of about 100 for a Monday, with big tips dropped too. Each employee ended up earning $78 per hour for their shift.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
