Emilie Kenny, age 27, was in Cape Bridgewater, in Victoria, Australia on Monday (August 2nd) hoping to spot some seals. But after parking her car she was confronted by a pack of nearly 20 kangaroos. She caught the whole thing on camera and says in the video, \u201cJust in case I die there is a stampede of kangaroos coming towards me.\u201d She then quickly composes herself and hides in some bushes, all while recording the group of kangaroos making their way towards her. But the animals ended up bouncing over a nearby fence after getting startled. There were no injuries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u27a2 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This is one thing you\u2019d never want to find inside a new home: bees. Sara Weaver says she and her husband bought a farmhouse built in 1872 in Skippack, Pennsylvania, without conducting an inspection because they had really wanted a home in the area and moved quickly when they saw the home listed. They purchased the home in winter 2020, and Weaver says on the seller\u2019s disclosure it said \u201cbees in wall,\u201d and she didn\u2019t think much of it until the spring, when the bees became active. She hired a contractor who is also a professional beekeeper to get rid of the estimated 450,000 insects inside the walls of the home. Caffeine?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There&#8217;s a new study out that says that having caffeine in the morning can help with job performance and memory . . . in BEES.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Researchers found that caffeinated bees were better equipped to find target crops, so a little caffeine buzz helped the bees do their everyday jobs more efficiently. She was in Nashville to do some songwriting.\u00a0 She went out with friends that night, and shared a Lyft home with ONE of them.\u00a0 The driver dropped her friend off first, but wouldn&#8217;t follow Clare&#8217;s directions to her place.\u00a0She said, quote, &#8220;[I] was like, &#8216;That was my turn. \u00a0Where are you going?&#8217; \u00a0He was screaming at me.&#8221;\u00a0 She didn&#8217;t let up on the guy, so he decided to pull the car over about a mile from her house.\u00a0 And that&#8217;s when it got real bad.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Quote, &#8220;Before I could even get my phone to try and call 911, he grabbed me by the collar, ripped me out of the backseat and slammed me face-first down into a ditch.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">She had bruises on her face, and was bleeding, so she went to the emergency room. \u00a0She also filed a police report and a detective helped her identify the driver. \u00a0And she&#8217;s speaking out because she wants to share the lessons she learned.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">She says you should always take a screenshot of the driver&#8217;s information from the rideshare app.\u00a0 And, take a photo of their license plate BEFORE getting into the car . . . because the driver&#8217;s info goes away after the ride is completed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lyft put out a statement saying they&#8217;ve &#8220;permanently removed the driver from their platform.&#8221; They also reached out to Clare to offer support and are assisting the police with the investigation.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\u27a2 How would you react to seeing a bunch of kangaroos running at you?
