A man named John Wood says he and his wife were on board a floating Caf\u00e9, in England, when a \u201cnude cruise\u201d came into view and naked passengers started waving at them.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Wood said \u201cReaction in the restaurant was mostly of amusement, and concern for their health as the wind was getting up.\u201d A nudist club was operating its annual \u201cNude Cruise\u201d in which passengers travel naked for a cruise around the area.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u27a2<\/span> Edith Murway-Traina \u2014 who celebrated her 100th birthday last Sunday \u2014 has been recognized by Guinness World Records as the oldest competitive female powerlifter. In 2019, she broke the record for \u2018oldest powerlifter\u2019 by hulking upwards of 150 pounds at 98. Her achievement is marked in the 2022 edition of the \u201cGuinness World Records\u201d book, out next month. She stopped working out due to the pandemic, but is now back at the gym 3 times a week with her trainer, preparing for another competition in November. How does she do it? The Tampa-based great-great-grandmother says: \u201cI\u2019m kind of annoying.\u201d Tell me I can\u2019t do something, and I will prove that I can.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

\u27a2<\/span> Not everyone enjoys the same music. An 11th grade student in Australia recently wrote a note to an unidentified musician about his playing in Sydney. Lily Plummer wrote a note and placed it on a fence in the park where the bagpiper often plays, it reads, \u201cDear bagpiper, I understand lockdown is hard and we all need a creative outlet. However, it\u2019s been eight days and I\u2019m not sure how much more bagpiping I can take. Please consider taking a day off every now and then, it would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, a struggling [11th grade] student.\u201d She also drew a picture of a bagpipe to avoid any confusion. Sydney is currently under lockdown until at least August 28th, and residents may only leave their homes for essential reasons, including exercising outside.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u27a2<\/span> An unopened copy of Super Mario Bros. from 1985 has sold for $2 million. According to Rally, the company that sold the game the copy had a 9.8 A+ rating on the Wata Scale, meaning it was in \u201cexceptional condition.\u201d The sale marks the highest price ever paid for a video game, surpassing the $1.65 million sale of a mint version of Super Mario 64 last month.<\/span><\/p>\n
