\u27a2 <\/span>\u00a0New Zealand’s COVID-19 response minister\u00a0<\/span>urged people<\/span><\/a>\u00a0to socially distance when they go outside to, quote, “spread their legs.” (???)<\/span><\/p>\n

\u27a2 <\/span>There’s a 14-year-old kid in Edmonton named Anthony who\u00a0<\/span>loves basketball<\/b><\/a>, and spends hours practicing in his driveway every day.\u00a0 So when one of his neighbors knocked on his door, he thought they were angry about the constant dribbling.\u00a0 But it turned out they wanted to support him.<\/span><\/p>\n

Anthony dribbled in his driveway but he didn’t have a HOOP.\u00a0 A neighbour put out a call for help and o<\/span>ffers came in from several community members who wanted to donate their used nets, but the post garnered so much attention, the area Canadian Tire swooshed in and donated a brand new net.<\/span> And now he’s got his sights set on the NBA.\u00a0 His favorite player\u00a0<\/span>LeBron James<\/b>\u00a0even shouted him out on Instagram.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u27a2 <\/span>A recent survey says that only 4 hours and 12 minutes is the actual work time each day.\u00a0 Top things that were listed as time wasters? Surfing the internet, social media, texting, bathroom breaks, and talking with co-workers, are the top 5.\u00a0 Other responses include: \u00a0Snack breaks . . . coffee breaks . . . “reading and drawing” . . . watching TV . . . phone calls . . . and childcare.<\/span><\/p>\n

When asked WHY they’re not busier at work, common responses were:\u00a0 There are lulls in tasks . . . waiting on coworkers to finish . . . they’re not motivated . . . they’re distracted by personal situations . . . and the “environment is not ideal.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u27a2 <\/span>\u201cNo Time To Die\u201d has a new release date \u2013 and they really mean it this time. The 25<\/span>th<\/span>\u00a0\u2018James Bond\u2019 film will be launched with a worldwide premiere on September 28 at London\u2019s Royal Albert Hall, and will be released in cinemas 2 days later on the 30<\/span>th<\/span>. The hotly-anticipated movie \u2013 which will be Daniel Craig\u2019s final outing as 007 \u2013 has been pushed back several times due to the coronavirus pandemic and for other reasons. Its first scheduled release date was in November, 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n
