Canada became the first North American country to experience Facebook\u2019s new dating feature when it rolled out on Friday.\u00a0 \u201cFacebook Dating\u201d has users create a profile which is separate from their regular Facebook profile, and it is kept out of sight of their friends.\u00a0 It recommends matches that users aren\u2019t already friends with, but who share dating preferences, interests and if they\u2019d like, mutual friends or groups and events. \u00a0Facebook Dating supports text-only conversations between matches in an effort to minimize \u201ccasual encounters\u201d and to build long-term relationships.<\/p>\n

Just in case you needed it, here\u2019s another reason not to pick your nose: According to research, picking your nose could easily spread a dangerous pneumonia-causing bacteria.\u00a0 Volunteers were split into four groups and were exposed to the bacteria using different hands-to-nose methods.\u00a0 Researchers found that not only can pneumonia-causing bacteria spread through picking and rubbing the nose, but that the bacteria is spread at the same rate whether people pick their nose or simply rub their nose with the back of their hand.\u00a0 This is the first study showing transmission can occur from contact between the nose and hands after exposure to the bacteria, rather than just through breathing it in.<\/p>\n

The dog was named Zeus . . . it knows how to KITEBOARD . . . and apparently he was stolen by a guy in his 60s or 70s driving a gray sedan.<\/p>\n

And just as Miguel was reading the post . . . a guy in his 60s or 70s pulled up to the park in a gray sedan, and he hopped out with the dog.<\/p>\n

So Miguel confronted him, and after they argued, Miguel yelled “Zeus” . . . and the dog ran right to him.<\/p>\n

                  Last night’s\u00a0“52nd Annual CMA Awards”<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0opened with\u00a0GARTH BROOKS<\/strong>\u00a0doing a moment of silence for the Thousand Oaks victims.\u00a0 It was the second year in a row the show opened with a memorial.\u00a0 Let’s hope it’s the last.<\/p>\n

                  Things picked up with\u00a0LUKE BRYAN<\/strong>\u00a0performing\u00a0“What Makes You Country”<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 He was joined by some of country’s newer acts: \u00a0Luke Combs<\/strong>,\u00a0Lindsey Ell<\/strong>,\u00a0Cole Swindell<\/strong>,\u00a0Ashley McBryde<\/strong>,\u00a0Chris Janson<\/strong>, and\u00a0Jon Pardi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

                  It was a good lead-in for\u00a0BRAD PAISLEY<\/strong>\u00a0and a very pregnant\u00a0CARRIE UNDERWOOD<\/strong>\u00a0to start the monologue.\u00a0 As promised, they stayed away from politics, which may have taken the bite out of the humor, but that’s okay.<\/p>\n

                  They did “break the news” that Carrie’s having a baby boy, and had fun with it by bringing out her first-born. \u00a0But it wasn’t little Isaiah.\u00a0 It was Walmart kid\u00a0MASON RAMSEY<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

                  KELSEA BALLERINI\u00a0<\/strong>got theatrical for her performance of\u00a0“Miss Me More”<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 There were dancers balancing on chairs, jumping around, and doing gymnastics.\u00a0 It was visually interesting, and it worked.<\/p>\n

                   <\/p>\n

                  I swear Carrie Underwood could be singing WHILE giving birth and she’d still knock it out of the park.\u00a0 Her performance of\u00a0“Love Wins”<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0brought the crowd to its feet.\u00a0 She also won Female Vocalist of the Year and no one’s going to argue that call.<\/p>\n

                   <\/p>\n

                  OLD DOMINION\u00a0<\/strong>picked up their first CMA award.\u00a0 They won Vocal Group of the Year.\u00a0 It’s fun to watch artists have their first big moment.\u00a0 You could tell it meant a lot to them.<\/p>\n

                   <\/p>\n

                  Things got as country as country could get when\u00a0RICKY SKAGGS<\/strong>\u00a0and his incredible players performed the bluegrass classic\u00a0“Black Eyed Susie”<\/strong><\/em>. \u00a0Then Ricky switched stages to join\u00a0KEITH URBAN\u00a0<\/strong>for\u00a0“Highway 40 Blues”<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 There was more.<\/p>\n

                   <\/p>\n

                  Ricky went back to the first stage and did\u00a0“Country Boy”<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0with Brad Paisley and\u00a0MARTY STUART<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

                   <\/p>\n

                  MIDLAND\u00a0<\/strong>made their CMA debut and did a cover of\u00a0Jerry Reed’s<\/strong>\u00a0“East Bound and Down”<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0from\u00a0“Smokey and the Bandit”<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 They also showed clips of\u00a0Burt Reynolds<\/strong>\u00a0from the movie.\u00a0 Props.<\/p>\n

                  KACEY MUSGRAVES<\/strong>\u00a0won Album of the Year for\u00a0“Golden Hour”<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 The whole place was happy for her.\u00a0 Talk about timing, she said it was 10 years to the day that she moved to Nashville.<\/p>\n
