The Brothers Osborne have such a busy schedule these days that there’s literally no time to get back home to Maryland to celebrate Thanksgiving with family.<\/p>\n
In fact, John Osborne says he and brother T.J. have opted to spend the holiday in Nashville the last few years for a what they call a “misfit Thanksgiving.”<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat we\u2019ve done the past several years is because it\u2019s so hard to go home, we would have what we call the Misfit Thanksgiving dinner, and all the people in Nashville who aren\u2019t able to go home to their families, we would just invite them over to our house and have a big potluck style Thanksgiving dinner. We\u2019ll take like a couple of tables and throw them together and throw some sheets on it just to make it look nice. It\u2019s a very redneck display of like tableware, because all the plates don\u2019t match and the forks and knives don\u2019t match, but we don\u2019t care. People will bring wine, and at the end of the day, we\u2019ll probably have 12-15 people all sitting at dinner together that weren\u2019t able to go home with their families, and just enjoy it with friends. It\u2019s been really fun. Definitely a lot less stress than going home.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
