The numbers are in and Tracy Lawrence has raised $175,000 for the Nashville Rescue Mission this year.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s the largest amount the even has ever had in its entire 16 years.<\/p>\n
Every year, just before U.S. Thanksgiving, Tracy hosts what he calls the Mission: Possible Turkey Fry and Benefit Concert, it gives support to the homeless and those in need.<\/p>\n

During the annual turkey fry, Tracy was presented with the honorary title of Tennessee Colonel in recognition of his philanthropic service to Nashville and the state of Tennessee.<\/p>\n
Launched in 2006, the nonprofit\u2019s Turkey Fry event has since raised over $600,000 for Nashville Rescue Mission and has fried over 6,400 turkeys.<\/p>\n
It has provided over 90,000 meals to the homeless and hungry of Middle Tennessee.<\/p>\n
