  1. A guy in Montreal recently found out\u00a0<\/span>60,000 pounds of potatoes\u00a0<\/b><\/a>would go to waste if no one bought them.\u00a0 So he spent $12,000 and gave them to his local food kitchen to feed people in need.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

Last August, a guy was on a camping trip near Lake Tahoe when his\u00a0<\/span>dog got startled\u00a0<\/b><\/a>by someone and ran off.\u00a0 The dog’s name is Russ, and he’s a three-year-old pitbul mix.\u00a0 He was missing for four months until a random skier spotted him on December 16th.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      It was freezing out, and Russ was curled up in the snow under a tree.\u00a0 So he wouldn’t have made it through the night.\u00a0 But an animal rescue group managed to catch him.\u00a0 Then they used his microchip to track down the owner, and Russ is now back home.<\/span><\/p>\n
