A 16-year-old kid near Philly named Cory Hemberger\u00a0<\/span>saved two younger kids<\/b><\/a>\u00a0who fell through an icy pond last week.\u00a0 He was out playing hockey when he heard the first kid fall in.\u00a0 Then the kid’s friend tried to save him, and he fell in too.\u00a0 So Cory got as close as he could, and used his hockey stick to pull them out.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

Speaking of ice:\u00a0 Four\u00a0<\/span>ice fishermen<\/b><\/a>\u00a0in Vermont saved a deer that got caught on a frozen lake.\u00a0 It was exhausted and couldn’t get its footing, because it had been out there for hours.\u00a0 So they managed to wrangle it, then put it on a sled and got it back to shore.\u00a0 They said it turned a “bad day of fishing into a good day” overall.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
