Joe Nichols recently shared a great drinking story with Blake Shelton.<\/p>\n
It happened years ago, the first time they “tried” writing music together.<\/p>\n
The session lasted 30 minutes and wasn’t going great. According to Joe, their ideas were so “dumb” they decided to go to lunch.<\/p>\n
“And then we ordered a beer. And then we ordered about six beers. We got a little tipsy and went, ‘I got the perfect idea.'”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
So, they went back to the writing room, but by the time they got there, they forgot that perfect idea.<\/p>\n
So they headed back to the bar and stayed until midnight.<\/p>\n
