She asked him to sing a song, so he did &#8220;Blue Ain&#8217;t Your Color&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>He even referenced her a couple of times in the song. And when he was done, he GAVE her a vintage guitar.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;This is a 1960 Gibson Les Paul Jr. that I&#8217;ve had for a long time, and it&#8217;s on a lot of records. This is a gift to you from me, because this is my 20th time on the show, which is unbelievable.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>There was another surprise.<\/p>\n<p>He wrote a letter to her ON the guitar, and she read it out loud. Here&#8217;s what it said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Dearest darling Ellen, you&#8217;ve been a believer in me and my music since 2004 when I first came on your show. I&#8217;m deeply grateful for all the years, laughs, weird-a** cologne commercials and your passion and support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I wish you love and light on your journey ahead.
