{"id":29686,"date":"2022-05-24T08:32:33","date_gmt":"2022-05-24T12:32:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cfcofm\/?p=29686"},"modified":"2022-05-24T08:32:33","modified_gmt":"2022-05-24T12:32:33","slug":"zac-brown-band-member-has-als","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cfcofm\/blogs\/country-music-news\/2022\/05\/zac-brown-band-member-has-als\/","title":{"rendered":"Zac Brown Band Member Has ALS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Zac Brown Band member John Driskell Hopkins revealed that he has been diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig\u2019s disease.<\/p>\n<p>In a video released on the band&#8217;s YouTube page on Friday, May 20th, Hopkins stands alongside his band members to announce the tough news, saying in part,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Over the last several years, I\u2019ve been dealing with some stiffness in my body and some slurred speech . . . Because my symptoms have been slow-progressing from the start, we believe they will continue to be slow progressing going forward.
