It&#8217;s feast or famine, and it&#8217;s always been that way. It doesn&#8217;t scare me to NOT be the popular kid on the block. I just go and do my thing. I want to make music that I love and that is true to me.&#8221; And if his audience drifts away for a while, that&#8217;s okay, because he&#8217;s not going anywhere. I&#8217;m always going to pop my head back up. My 15 minutes are going to be every few years. I call it my recovery time. Don&#8217;t look for me to ever go away.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Randy&#8217;s next &#8220;music that he loves&#8221; is an album coming out in November called, &#8220;Note to Self&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>He said it&#8217;s &#8220;a country record at its core&#8221; with a heavy dose of pedal steel.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I&#8217;m not reaching for anything on this.
