She went to Adams State University in Colorado to study psychology, and met Christian Corah. They became close friends \u2013 and Christian researched her condition, and discovered a surgery which would mean Sophia could see again. After fundraising $20,000 for the operation, her vision was restored in Aug. 2019, and the pair eventually got married.
